* TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon: Decisive Battlefield, the 6th and final area in ''Team Kirby Clash Deluxe''. It is home to all of the game's strongest and final bosses, including the BonusBoss.

* AlternateContinuity: ''Team Kirby Clash Deluxe'' takes place outside of the main ''Kirby'' continuity in an AlternateUniverse called the Dream Kingdom (as opposed to Dream Land). [[spoiler:...at least until ''VideoGame/KirbysReturnToDreamLand Deluxe''. While the game still takes place in a different world than the main series, the two are shown to be connected, and the Magolor we see in this game is the same one from the main continuity rather than being an alternate universe counterpart.]]

* AlternateContinuity: ''Team Kirby Clash Deluxe'' takes place outside of the main ''Kirby'' continuity in an AlternateUniverse called the Dream Kingdom (as opposed to Dream Land). * AntiFrustrationFeatures: When you're fighting flying enemies (e.g. Greater Doomer, Kracko, Telepathos), Beam Mage's Time Beam attack will become more effective and will stop the enemy in less amount of hits. It's to compensate the fact that, well, they're flying and thus the Time Beam cannot hit them most of the time.

* TheCameo:
** As you make story progress, various ''Kirby'' characters will appear in the Dream Kingdom town. These include familiar faces such as Rick, Kine, Coo, and [[spoiler:Taranza]].

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: In the July 2017 issue of the Japanese magazine ''Nintendo DREAM'', the developers revealed that Shopkeeper Magolor is actually the same Magolor from the main '"Kirby'' canon, and not a parallel counterpart. [[spoiler:This is later confirmed directly in ''VideoGame/KirbysReturnToDreamLand Deluxe'', which [[CanonWelding welds]] the two games together through the Magolor Epilogue mode, and reveals how Magolor ended up in the Dream Kingdom.]]

** If needed food spawns and it's right next to an enemy, sometimes, more often than not, [[TooDumbToLive they'll break their back to get it.]]

* AnAxeToGrind: [[spoiler:King D-Mind, like Shadow Dedede, starts wielding one after he TurnsRed.]]

* NiceHat: You can purchase a lot of different hats as your "armor". The best hats look especially brimming with power.

** DX Gear also sparkles. Which turns said Platinum gear UpToEleven.

** There's also Landia from ''VideoGame/KirbysReturnToDreamLand'', a 4-headed winged dragon that can split into 4 smaller one-headed dragons upon TurningRed. [[spoiler:There's also a powered-up Landia EX and Parallel Landia, from AnotherDimension.]]

* ShowsDamage: Unlike many Kirby games, bosses here lack a LifeMeter; instead you'll only get indicators such as them TurningRed and then them flashing red, increasingly rapidly, along with the message "You've almost defeated it!"
