* CombatPragmatist: Like some other games, Ride to Hell switches from shooting to melee combat frequently. Unlike some other games, though, it doesn't do anything to make you do the same, so there's nothing stopping you from simply shooting enemies that try to engage you up close.
** AngryJoe noted that he quickly became an expert for headshots in this game, since it's the fasted way to cut down the repetetive combat in this game. Enemies tend to be bullet sponges unless you hit their heads.

** How Jake handles an electric fence standing in his way might count aswell. Instead of stealing any vehicle and driving through it or trying any other quick way to bypass it. Jake kills a bunch of truckers, steals their fuel truck, kills a bunch of cops trying to stop him, drives to a powerplant, killing the workers and then blows up the truck to destroy the plant, so the fence has no juice and he can climb over it.

The game has been universally panned. It was released for the PlayStation3 and {{Xbox 360}}, and its PC version was distributed through {{Steam}}. It is the lowest-scoring {{Xbox 360}} released at retail thus far. BenCroshaw even went so far as to call it gaming's Plan9FromOuterSpace and challenged people to buy, just because the game is so bad, it has to be experienced first-hand to be believed.

''Ride to Hell: Retribution'' is a BeatEmUp and the first of the three ''Ride to Hell'' games scheduled to be released in 2013.

The story has a man named Jake returning to his hometown after serving in Vietnam. After his younger brother is murdered by a biker gang, Jake seeks vengeance for his brother's death.

The game has been universally panned and is the lowest-scoring Xbox360 released at retail.

Game Informer did a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrKAuwL7dkM Test Chamber]] video on the game, showcasing the odd quirks of the game's graphics and motorcycle physics.

* BigNo: Jake does one when his brother is killed before his very eyes.
* NotScreenedForCritics: To review the game, an editor for ''Game Informer'' had to buy a retail copy.
* OffModel: The character models look cheap and dated, with stiff, plastic-looking hair. Jake himself looks a little like Eddie Riggs from ''BrutalLegend''.
