One of the many [[FightingGame fighting games]] [[FollowTheLeader that tried to copy]] ''Franchise/MortalKombat''. Although the influence of ''VideoGame/KillerInstinct'' is undeniable.

''Pray For Death'' is a 1996 FightingGame for DOS [[UsefulNotes/IBMPersonalComputer PCs]], which tried to imitate ''VideoGame/KillerInstinct''. However, it's worth mentioning that it includes [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Cthulhu]] as a character.

This game is still sold on UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} and Website/GogDotCom. It can also be played in a browser or downloaded [[https://www.dosgames.com/game/pray-for-death/ here]].

Not to be confused with the {{Ninja}} movie of the same name starring Sho Kosugi.

While the graphics were great (for its time), the gameplay was uninspired, the sound horrible and the fatalities lame. However, it's worth mentioning that it includes [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Cthulhu]] as a character.

* HornyDevils: Murgan's backstory calls him a succubus, although he doesn't really do any seducing in-game and he'd more logically be called an incubus.
