* DivergentCharacterEvolution: One of the biggest changes in this mod compared to the original game is how it diversifies each Star Force form, so they play differently. Once done, the icon disappears to indicate that the NPC has no quest to give you.

** All mini-games can now be controlled with the D-pad and buttons, a joy for those who hated the touch screen controls.
** Unable to form Brotherbands with real people? Or you feel they're not up to your levels of power? Well after you obtain the [[spoiler: Lonely Heart]], you can go back to the Time Square mirror's Wave Road and use the Brother Mirror to create a copy of your own data.

* CallBack: The 1000 Note challenge is inspired by the 1000 Man Challenge from Mega Man: Battle Network 5, with the game's new currency Star Frags being a call back to the Bug Frags in Mega Man: Battle Network 3

** Much like the original MegaMan Star Force, you can do a sidequest where you meet MegaMan.EXE and obtain his weapon.

Added DiffLines:

* NoFairCheating: Using the Brother mirror to create fake brothers means that their face pics will be grayscale, the mark of a cheater. Averted once you hit Lv.100, then your fake brothers regain their colours. Beating the game also unlocks some more face pics to use which yes, means you can form a Brotherband with Pat if you really wanted to.

Added DiffLines:

* RhythmGame: An unlockable mini-game allows you to replay the Harp Note minigame, this time much harder. You keep playing until you get hit by a musical note or hit the maximum score of 1000.
* ThrowItIn: [=Prof9=] intended to have the Deepspace Boss Rush give only 100 Star Frags but mistakenly left it as a 1000 Star Frags. He decided to keep it instead of patching it out.

* CameraLockOn: The player can lock onto enemies during battle. The Ice Pegasus form allows you to lock onto enemy when using Mega Cards, making it into a Speed based form.
* ChargedAttack: The player can charge their Mega Buster normally to deal more damage. The Version 1.2.0 update allows the Fire Leo form to have a Lv.2 charge (Blaze Charge) that uses up your next card in order to deal more damage then normal, making it more offense based.
* ChargeInputSpecial: The Version 1.2.0 update allows the player to rotate the control pad when they activate Wolf Wood's Mega card. Doing it correctly activates his berserk form instead and blinds the enemy briefly.

* MythologyGag: Mr Famous appears in the game in a robotic form, which is actually a reference to concept art that didn't appear in the game.
** One of the alternate costumes you can unlock is a reference to a figure of MegaMan with Geo Stelar's colour scheme.
