Added DiffLines:

* HollywoodAcid: The acid pools that the Acid Lemmings can walk across is an example of this, in that it's bright green in color.

Added DiffLines:

* LavaPit: It's bright yellow, and bubbles a lot, but individuals drown in it, with a quasi-DisneyDeath appearing.

New article for 2000's video game in Lemmings franchise

Added DiffLines:

''Lemmings Revolution'' is the fourth and final iteration in the ''{{VideoGame/Lemmings}}'' series, and was released in 2000 as an early 2001 game.

In this game, the Lemmings have been captured by the Weasels, who were amused by archives from previous games in the series, and captured them to see if they can survive the traps they have set for them.

!!Tropes:

* AbsenteeActor: There are a small amount of levels where the Classic Lemmings ''don't'' appear.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Several levels focus on the Water Lemmings and Acid Lemmings.
* AlternateContinuity: This is a completely different continuity to ''3D Lemmings'' or any previous iteration in the franchise.
* AntiVillain: The birds that appear and the crabs are there to oppose the lemmings, but they're not ''meant'' to be malicious, they're only anti-villains in the sense they're opposing the protagonists (the Lemmings).
* BigBad: The Weasels. InUniverse they're presented as a [[CompleteMonster complete monsters]] who have captured the lemmings [[ItAmusedMe for their own personal amusement]].
* BroadStrokes: According to the {{BackStory}} given in the opening movie before the game, the events of ''{{VideoGame/Lemmings}}'' did happen, but not quite the same as presented in the 1991 game. It would seem that, in this iteration, canon is a guideline, not ''an absolute rule''.
* CallBack: Relating to the original game, and shown in the pre-game BackStory.
* CartoonCreature: The lemmings look less lemming-like and more NotQuiteHuman or AmbiguouslyHuman, but the weasels resemble something more like a dingo than a weasel, but due to the 2D of the game, it's hard to tell.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: The lemmings are color-coded, by ability to walk on surface, and split into three separate colors:
** "Classic" Lemmings - green hair, blue body. They can only walk on surfaces, and will die in water or acid.
** Water lemmings - aqua-green hair, white body (resembling a nightshirt). They can WalkOnWater, but die on acid.
** Acid Lemmings - red hair, green body. They can walk on acid but will die walking on water. \\
This was done so they had powers tailored to the plot.
* ContinuityReboot: For the ''{{VideoGame/Lemmings}}'' franchise as a whole, and it starts from a clean slate with an entirely new canon, but the CallBack treats the old games as happening in BroadStrokes.
* {{Filler}}: The levels "Just X", which are centered on skills like floating, bashing etc. are there to pad out the game, but also as training.
* InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals: The lemmings themselves are all visually identical.
* MinimalistCast: The Lemmings, the Weasels, the Bird and the Crab (so 54 characters in total, if you include the 50 lemmings).
* NonMaliciousMonster: The birds that peck the lemmings and the crabs with their claws that appear aren't working for the BigBad, they're just doing what comes naturally to them.
