* LateExportForYou: The Windows version. For a long period, ''Memories of Celceta'' was a UsefulNotes/PlaystationVita-exclusive except in China, where the Windows port was created for the region in 2015 (and not a great one at that). After years, Creator/XSEEDGames published the Windows port of ''Memories of Celceta'' (independent from and better than the Chinese version) on UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} for the summer of 2018. This only leaves ''VideoGame/YsVLostKefinKingdomOfSand'' as the last numbered ''Ys'' installment to not receive a release to the PC platform.

* ScrewedByTheLawyers: Worldwide voice acting rights for the Japanese voice acting were not secured, thus the international UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} version released in 2018 only contains the English voices and Japanese subtitles if Japanese is selected as the language. This changed in February 2020, where XSEED finally managed to include Japanese voice acting in the Steam version.
