** While the era spanning from ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure'' to ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog'' is officially dubbed the Dreamcast Era by Sega, many fans generally tend to dub the era as the ''Adventure'' Era instead due to the era spanning beyond the UsefulNotes/SegaDreamcast and many of the games released in that era sharing a ton of elements and ideas with the Adventure games.

False info.

** Originally the game was going to have three Sonics, with the third being "Dreamcast Sonic", who would have been voiced by Ryan Drummond. However, Ryan turned down the offer, so Dreamcast Sonic was scrapped and the final game had just Classic and Modern Sonic. Also, one of the staff at Sega of America did say that if Classic Sonic were to speak, he would have to be voiced by Jaleel White, but Jaleel was never approached about doing the role and they eventually decided to make Classic Sonic mute.

** That's only going by the [=PS360/PC=] version of the game (''Heroes'' is considered to be part of the Modern era in the 3DS version) and purely for pragmatic reasons (so that there'd be an even number of stages per era), though.
*** To clarify, while the PS360 version of the game has Seaside Hill to represent VideoGame/SonicHeroes, the 3DS version uses a boss instead, the Egg Emperor, that serves as a boss for the Modern Era, and all 7 of the game's Special Stages are directly taken from the Heroes style.

[[note]]The confusion likely stems from ''Generations'' and the 15th anniversary game, ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006'', both having been hyped up as the current MilestoneCelebration and the current generation's end-all-be-all ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' experience. The 10th anniversary game, the aforementioned ''Sonic Adventure 2'', received far less emphasis on its MilestoneCelebration status, and thus it doesn't get compared to ''[='=]06'' or ''Generations'' as often as those two games are compared to each other. ** Cash Cash did the remix for the American Stardust Speedway theme for Generations, as noted in the liner notes for the remastered ''VideoGames/SonicCD'' soundtrack, but decided against having in the game since ''Generations'' already had the "B" Mix remix they made and felt that the soundtrack should have something extra. This is also why the song loops on the soundtrack.

* ChristmasRushed: The 3DS version, which was rushed out in about six months or so, compared to the console versions which were in concept since at least 2008. While the final product certainly wasn't a disaster by any stretch, it lacks content compared to the console versions and it's obvious that some corners were cut (including the rival races, which take place on improbable stages).

The God Never Said That issue most likely stems from the last (and most infamous) Milestone Celebation having declared itself to be Canon Discontinuity, and the usual suspects are somehow getting every Milestone Celebration in the series mixed up with each other. Alas, I am currently too distracted to make that point coherently.
