* CastingGag: The series gained a sizable LGBTFanbase due to its portrayal of a romantic relationship between two women (one lesbian and one bisexual). One of the lead actresses ''did'' come out as gay shortly after the show premiered... and it was Ariela Barer, who plays the female half of the show's central straight couple.

** Australian Julian [=McMahon=] plays Jonah. While his nationality isn't clear, him being AmbiguouslyHuman and all, he does use an American accent while playing him. [[spoiler: Ultimately zig-zagged when it's revealed that the original Jonah was Australian, and the Magistrate's American accent took over when he possessed him.]]
