** Blitzy Heart was originally going to have a storyline about being in an ArrangedMarriage with Lightning Dawn on Harmonius that he didn't know about it because the planet was destroyed before he could be told about it. Mykan scrapped this idea because it "overcomplicated things".

* CreatorsPest: It should be evident from the writing that Mykan doesn't hold most of the ''Friendship is Magic'' cast in particularly high regard, but he has it in for Princess Cadance in particular for being HappilyMarried while his [=OTPs=] in ''Franchise/{{Digimon}}'' and ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'' aren't officially a thing. He also despises Twilight for being a "ControlFreak who tries to force friendship on other people" [[SincerityMode (His words, not ours)]]. To a lesser extent, he's also been open about his belief that Rarity is a terrible character due to being an annoying diva (ignoring her HiddenDepths entirely, as per his favored writing style).

** Twilight was originally gonna live through season III and have an arc where she fell in love with a guy unaware he was working with Sombra. However, it appears after Magical Mystery Cure aired and made Twilight a princess Mykan decided to kill her off instead, and the arc was recycled in Season IV for Rarity.
