For instance, Karolina Dean had both "acid wash jeans" (her clothes) and "Cheese and Onions" (a song by Music/TheRutles, given she for a time was [[Music/TheBeatles "Lucy in the Sky"]]). And at times it's obtuse - Doc Ock was "Stop me if you've heard this one!" because a stop sign is an octagon - or misdirection - "Diamond: C(s, diamond)" made people think of Emma Frost, but it was Mockingbird as both said bird and a diamond ring are in "Hush Little Baby".
