* CompanyCrossReferences: Shirase is also the name of a rather infamous super-speed ''VideoGame/TetrisTheGrandMaster 3'' mode. The ''TGM'' series is also developed by Arika.

Something of a NonindicativeName depending on how you view it; while none of the characters from the core ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' series are present, most of the OriginalGeneration ''EX'' characters are, and their stories are more or less a direct continuation of the ones found in the ''EX'' games.

** Hokuto/Shirase and her Bloody Hokuto form are now voiced by Yuka Igarashi, rather than Creator/YuriAmano. [[spoiler:With the later reveal that "Hokuto" is actually the modern-day Nanase, with Sanane essentially being her BodyDouble, one could say Creator/MegumiOgata's role (see RoleReprisal below) was likewise Darrin'd.]]

* RoleReprisal: Whereas the majority of the ''EX'' [[Characters/StreetFighterEX cast]] [[TheOtherDarrin have new voices in this game]], there are four characters to date who retain their original [=VAs=] from that series: Skullomania (Issei Futamata), Darun Mister (Creator/TakashiNagasako), Doctrine Dark (Creator/WataruTakagi), and Nanase/[[SignificantAnagram Sanane]] (Creator/MegumiOgata). [[spoiler:That last example would later turn out to be a RedHerring, as Sanane is an IdenticalStranger of Nanase's hailing from their clan's branch family who just so happens to [[UncannyFamilyResemblance share Nanase's appearance]] (and voice), and even had Nanase's memories implanted in her. The real Nanase is this game's Hokuto.]]
