*** Moreso when you consider his fatal blow to his loved one is mishandling the topper shaped like him. For as childish as his fall is in this one, the addition of the cake toppers is surpisingly sad as it turns his mistakes from blinding rage to obliviously using his strength and talent to hurt those he loves with his lack of focus.

** Anakin parting with his mother in Episode I is surprisingly touching, especially since it's a ForegoneConclusion that their reunion won't be happy for either of them.

** The fact that this is Creator/TomKane's last work, doing Yoda, Admiral Ackbar and Qui-Gon Jinn due to having recorded his lines before he suffered the stroke that forced him to retire.

* Unlike the original film, we get to see Leia's reaction to her homeworld being destroyed. What's worse is Grand Moff Tarkin taunting her afterwards. Both are pictured above.

* As a whole, The Skywalker Saga is DenserAndWackier, but even so can manage some sober moments through its humor. Through its version of Episode III, there is a RunningGag where Padmé has a wedding cake for her and Anakin. As he proceeds down his path down the dark side, the cake gradually falls apart in the scenes it's in. Culminating in Anakin lashing out at Padmé on Mustafar, only to glance at the wedding topper figure of himself and realize how far he's fallen. Sadly, as the game follows canon, this is an IgnoredEpiphany as he soon clashes with Obi-Wan.
* In Episode IV in the Skywalker Saga, when Luke Skywalker is talking about Obi Wan being in the Clone Wars, including looking at a picture of Obi Wan with Commander Cody, he happily discusses his time as a Jedi Knight, then, when Luke asks about his father, he goes silent, and Obi Wan's expression shows he definitely doesn't happily remember what happened to his father.

* Padme's death isn't PlayedForLaughs. She still dies giving birth to Luke and Leia. Just to make it even more tragic, the two babies begin crying as soon as she dies, as if they know they just lost their mother.

* The death of in The Force Awakens is played 100% straight, even including a GoryDiscretionShot. There's a group of stormtroopers on hand to lampshade it, naturally.

* The rendition of Qui-Gon's death was obviously meant to be PlayedForLaughs by its visuals. Thanks to the faithful replication of the tone and music of the original scene, noone was laughing. Same can be said for Obi-Wan's death.
