* WebAnimation/AoharuMangaLibrary: An antagonist in the stories here tends to be a super smug, fun-chasing extrovert who likes to flex their elite status and look down on the more down-to-earth Keiichi, while usurping his place and being so self-assured that with their riches, they would be way more successful than Keiichi could ever be. When they have the upper hand in the beginning, they act so smug, expecting Keiichi to be crying at the misfortune that they caused. By the end of the story, their smug attitude comes crashing down along with their plans, showing that they are actually incompetent at their field. Meanwhile, Keiichi perseveres with his own hard work ethics, so they usually come back to Keiichi begging for a second chance, but at that point, Keiichi has had enough of their smug shit and rejects them, leaving them to a horrible fate.

* Machinima/RedVsBlue has , in the Chorus Trilogy. He genuinely is a good soldier and a talented manipulator, but he has a very bad habit of running his mouth whenever he thinks his opponent is at his mercy, and severely underestimates the Reds and Blues.

* The from WebVideo/TheNewAdventuresOfCaptainS. Pretentious use of the RoyalWe? Check. Unseemly obsession with squirrels? Check. AnnoyingLaugh? Check. Having to be [[spoiler:rescued by NES]] after finding out the hard way that ? Check. And finally, meeting an undignified end ? Check.

* WebAnimation/HazbinHotel: Sir Pentious is both a figurative and literal example. He's a former Victorian inventor and cobra demon who fancies himself an EvilOverlord and conqueror of Hell. While he is genuinely dangerous and a criminal kingpin, he's nowhere near as powerful as the actual overlords. Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb beat him in a turf war on their own, and when he goes up against Alastor he gets nearly killed almost instantly.

* The , from The New Adventures of Captain S, could well be the smuggest snake who ever smugged. Pretentious use of the royal we? Check. Unseemly obsession with squirrels? Check. Annoying laugh? Check. Having to be [[spoiler:rescued by NES]] after finding out the hard way that ? Check.
