* Were a bit bewildered by Vol'jin in the House of Otherness; to quote Karkat, "THE FUCK? IS THAT WHAT TROLLS IN OTHER WORLDS AND TIMESTREAMS LOOK LIKE?" Likewise, Vol'jin was rather confused by the Alternian Trolls, and especially by their four romances. However, he agreed with the twelve alien trolls to call Matespritship, Moirallegiance, Auspistice, and Kismessisitude the Alternian-Beforan Romances.
* Feferi is currently working with [[Pantheon/{{Magic}} Madoka]] to redeem Eridan. Though slightly jealous that Madoka's knowledge of Hope so clearly exceeds her moirail's, she is glad that ''someone'' is there to protect it.
* Karkat personally dislikes Princess Anna, but has taken it upon himself to convert her to the quadrant system- most commonly by arguing that her sisterhood with Elsa is a textbook moirallegiance. Anna is not convinced.

* For an unknown reason, reports on their appearance have varied greatly, with the only thing there's ever been a major consensus on are their eyes. After a while of debate, their "default", blank appearance has been determined, to use wherever it's needed.

** PowerNullifier[=/=]AntiMagic: Magia Seal prevents from using Magia and Doppel while Skill Seal does the same for Skills.
** Charm and Bind make character unable to move, with Bind being a better version that adds the same effects as Curse.
** Darkness and Dazzle [[LuckBasedMission might]] make character unable to move, while also strengthening elemental advantage and for Dazzle, preventing any healing.
** There are buffs and debuffs that change Attack, Defense, extra damage damage from Magia, resistance to debuffs or MP gain, as well as buffs that make a given disk type stronger.
** Some of the skills grant temporary immunity to receiving given status or ignoring enemy defensive buffs.
** There are skills with incredibly high cooldown that replace disks with specific ones and will pull disks that a magical girl doesn't have access to if needed.
* TemporaryOnlineContent: Happens to anything that was featured as part of an event or limited offer.
* TheBattleDidntCount: Since gameplay and narrative aren't always connected, expect bosses to do this.
* WakeUpCallBoss: The third rumor you face in story is likely to give you trouble, as it inflicts poison on your entire team.
