* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: If Pearl and Garnet had explained to Steven what the palanquin was and how it was related to Pink Diamond he wouldn't have been so mad and desperate for answers, and if Garnet [[PoorCommunicationKills did a better job explaining to Steven]] that he couldn't go because there was a chance that Blue Diamond would discover the Crystal Gems he might have listened. These mistakes cause the conflict of this episode and the next several.
