** The pottery professor has long since had it with parodies of ''that'' scene from ''Film/{{Ghost}}'' in any permutation, and anyone singing the theme from the movie whilst in the class.

Vayss/vayz/vahz is a long-standing point of debate, but the divide is often more class-based than regional (all three have been used in the USA since at least the advent of radio). I'm not sure this is enough context, though. I can't remember, does anyone draw attention to it, or does she emphasize it in some way?

Removed "there's no reason they should have known that" from the note about an iron jenny. It's a humorous bit of purple prose but they were actually taking a class about boating - it's certainly reasonable that it came up at some point.

There's no reason they would have learned the name of that equipment[[/note]]; there's a man overboard! ''That's an order!''\\

* TooSoon: In-universe example: The pottery teacher in "Basic Pottery" has banned the imitation of a scene from ''Film/{{Ghost}}''. He drives the point home by pointing to a poster of Creator/PatrickSwayze with an "X" over it. He then quietly tells the shocked students "I had it made before he died so it's not in bad taste."
