* BrokenAce: Rich is hinted to be this with his flashbacks on the end.

* YouShouldHaveDiedInstead: Apparently, Rich's mother thinks that Rich should have been the one who died on that roller coaster ride instead of his brother. Talk about MommyIssues.

* HilariousInHindsight: [[spoiler: Pierce being clueless at sailing is even funnier when he admits later that he was ''supposed'' to sail around the world to earn his fortune, but instead cheated and stayed at the same island the whole time. Meaning that he never really did much sailing to begin with.]]
