* DroneOfDread: Inverted in "Final Day" where instead of a low drone, a high-pitched whine runs throughout the track. It represents tinnitus resulting from exposure to a nuclear bomb blast.

Their sound was very minimal, carefully constructed and, at the same time, with a strong sense of spontaneity and sensibility. After appearing on a largely forgotten compilation, they were signed by Rough Trade and released one album, one single and one E.P, disbanding in 1981. Their album, ''Colossal Youth'', is considered one of the greatest albums of the PostPunk era. It was recorded with the minimum amount of equipment, in three and a half days and featuring only one overdub.

* WhileRomeBurns: "Eating Noddemix" is about a wealthy socialite who engages in leisurely and vain activites such as gazing in her bathroom mirror, putting on her makeup, painting her nails, drinking wine, watching television, and nibbling the titular Swiss candy bar while at the same time enough people are dying in a train-car collision for it to be an "all-night job" for the city workers.

The group reunited and toured intermittently throughout the 2000s-2010s, though aside from one song recorded for a BBC Radio Session in 2003, no new tracks ever materialised.
