Once gaining their trust, the Archers kidnap the children and [[WouldHurtAChild subject them to rape and torture]] for hours on end before murdering them, [[SnuffFilm filming their deeds]] and keeping a dispassionate, hobbyist mentality about it the whole while. * ''ComicBook/TheSecondLifeOfDoctorMirage'' issues #16-18--"Building the Perfect Beast" arc: [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast The Deathsmith]] is a grotesque, highly sadistic being with the ability to [[BodyOfBodies mold dead flesh into horrific constructs]] that do his bidding. Capturing and slaughtering dozens of people from around New York as fodder for his monsters, Deathsmith massacres the staff of a restaurant and sends them to capture Mirage's wife Carmen to feed on her necromantic energy, vowing to [[ColdBloodedTorture torture them both]] to the point where they beg for death upon being wounded by them. When challenged by Mirage again, Deathsmith creates a new, flying construct and attempts to obliterate New York to thrill himself, retaining a sense of [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor depraved humor]] to accentuate his brutal murders all the way through.

** Issues #17-19--"Jurassic Politics" arc: [[CardCarryingVillain Thomas Higdon]] is a UsefulNotes/{{CIA}} agent who is secretly in league with the monstrous Spider Aliens. Utilizing the technology left behind by Mothergod, Higdon helps create bionosaurs--cybernetic dinosaurs--and uses them in terrorist attacks to help weaken humanity while casting blame between nations. Putting together a team consisting of Turok, Higdon betrays them and has most of them killed with the last held captive with Turok. Higdon then has one of his Spider Alien allies kill and drain the blood of his last team member, gloating that watching them feed is "better than any SnuffFilm" he ever bought. Higdon reveals he intends to trigger a nuclear WorldWarIII to allow his masters to come in and easily take the Earth over, using humanity as slaves or food. Cheerfully acknowledging himself as a complete sociopath, Higdon spends even [[TakingYouWithMe his last moments of life attempting to trigger the war out of little else than spite]].
** Issues #24-27--"The Prodigal" arc: [[RapePillageAndBurn The Campaigner]] was a mindless robot given a soul by Mothergod, and developed a [[PsychoSupporter cruel fanaticism]] with his new agency. After Mothergod's death, the Campaigner starts to enslave the Lost Land by force to resurrect her dream of Unity. Any tribes who resist are utterly massacred, down to their [[WouldHurtAChild children]]. When a scout brings the Campaigner news of a squad wiped out, the Campaigner [[ShootTheMessenger tosses the scout to his death]] for the bad news and has the entire lakeside village of the perpetrators slaughtered in response.

[[EstablishingCharacterMoment Introduced]] letting a falling plane he's piloting crash into the middle of Mecca, Jimmy Six uses his hallucinogenic powers to influence the massacre of dozens of people outside Saudi Arabia's Great Mosque before repeating the process worldwide. Jimmy Six widens the schisms between faiths and nations wide enough to kickstart the world into nuclear war, all so he can [[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt see the entire world consumed]] for the purpose of taking the Forever Family to Hell with him. Jimmy later sides with the world-devouring Spider Aliens and tries to turn them upon all humanity, allowing them to first horrifically devour an entire village. Jimmy Six underscores all his atrocities with [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor a jokey demeanor]], peppering them with such details as eating a burger made out of a woman's dog [[ForcedToWatch in front of her]] and offering her a bite as well.
* ''[[ComicBook/DarquePassagesAcclaimComics Darque Passages]]'' Vol. 2, written by Christina Z.: [[CreepyTwins Lanston and Lydon Epoch]] are the sons of the demon Degamund who desire to recreate the world so they may be first in line to rule the new reality. To do this, the Epoch twins try and open a portal to the Deadside to [[HellOnEarth have all of Earth horrifically devoured by Deadside's teeming, demonic hordes]]. As a conduit for the portal, Lanston [[ManipulativeBastard manipulates]] a woman named Roses into a romance before turning over Roses to the {{sadist}}ic whims of Lydon, leading to Roses having [[EyeScream her eyes taken out with hooks]] and her agonized body being made a conduit for Deadside's populace to spill through. The Epoch twins even manage to near-fatally wound Darque's sister Sandria before being killed for good.

** [[ComicBook/Shadowman1997 Vol. 2]] issues #1-4--"Deadside" arc: [[BigBad Tommy-Lee Bones]] is the [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor wisecracking]], sadistic leader of the Dead Man, a group of deceased criminals who break out of the Deadside into New Orleans to wreak havoc. Tommy-Lee Bones goes about murdering everyone he crosses with a jauntily macabre attitude toward it all, humming the theme from ''Series/TheDukesOfHazzard'' as he gruesomely [[CopKiller murders police officers]], throws an exploding car into a building full of screaming people, and even runs over an old lady for kicks. Tommy-Lee Bones continues to dabble in cop-killing by massacring a precinct full of cops in a deranged KangarooCourt before moving on to torture Shadowman's bartender ally for hours with a knife.
** ''[[ComicBook/ShadowmanPresentsDeadside Shadowman Presents: Deadside]]'' issue #1, written by Paul Jenkins: Alexander, a MadScientist in whose bed the protagonist wakes up, explains with perfect honesty to his new captive that he had the protagonist captured by two hired goons whom Alexander promptly killed as soon as the delivery was made. As [[ForScience part of a scientific journey]] to find the Deadside--as well as [[ForTheEvulz to slake]] his own {{sadist}}ic amusement--Alexander [[ColdBloodedTorture tortures the protagonist in every way imaginable]] for fifty straight years, killing him and bringing him back to life repeatedly before escalating to far more gruesome tortures to keep the protagonist in as much pain as possible. Finally, Alexander throws the protagonist in a sensory deprivation tank to rot before chopping him to pieces.
** [[ComicBook/Shadowman1999 Vol. 3]], written by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning: [[BigBad Legion]] is the ruler of the [[EvilTowerOfOminousness Asylum]], a charnel den of torture designed by UsefulNotes/JackTheRipper himself, a place of more suffering than anywhere else in creation. Legion convinces all manners of {{serial killer}}s to kill themselves so their souls earn a place as his minions, and seeks to spread the corruption of Deadside to the living world, having souls tortured and amalgamated into demons by countless numbers with which to lay waste to Liveside. Legion has a woman named Astrid [[CruelAndUnusualDeath tortured to death]] by one of his pet killers--who takes out most of the surrounding prison with him--in order to sacrifice Astrid's soul to the engine powering the Asylum and the horrors he plans to wreak on mankind.
* ''ComicBook/{{Turok}}: [[ComicBook/TurokTheEmptySouls The Empty Souls]]'' & ''[[ComicBook/TurokShadowman Turok/Shadowman]]'': Karyahkas is the first leader of the Endtrails, Joshua's [[StarterVillain first enemy]], and a spiteful monster who stands out among the Amaranthine Accordance even despite his relatively low prominence. Slowly killing Karyakhas's uncle and predecessor with a sickness to have the inexperienced Joshua inherit the title of Turok--enabling him to murder Joshua with ease--Karyakhas targets Joshua's family and personally attempts to murder his [[WouldHurtAChild young niece and nephew]]. Later killed, but still active in the Deadside, Karyakhas makes a deal with a supernatural SerialKiller and has Turok's best friend murdered to goad him into coming into the Deadside, intending on leaving Josh trapped in the Deadside to create a timeline where the Accordance wipes out all humanity as his final spit against the line of Turok.

Abusing his own cult and brainwashing them so thoroughly they unhesitatingly throw away their lives for his when Bloodshot attacks the camp, Daddy has Bloodshot brutally tortured by his cultists to beat the location of his daughter out of him before threatening with a sick grin to murder one of the camp's [[WouldHurtAChild children]] in front of Bloodshot's eyes.

* ''ComicBook/{{Ninjak}}'' [[ComicBook/Ninjak2015 Vol. 3]] issue #27--"Snakebite!": [[MadScientist Dr. Khalid Khan]] is the son of a Middle Eastern dictator already infamous for [[{{Fingore}} hacking off the hands]] of his country's national goalkeeper for a failed game. When Ninjak intrudes on his base of affairs, he sees [[PlayingWithSyringes Khan has infused dozens]] of innocent rebels, [[WouldHurtAChild children included]], with the DNA of animals, resulting in their horrible mutations and deaths as Khan orders the bodies burned en masse. Khan callously orders Ninjak killed and his head used for raw material when he's captured and whines that he expected immunity for his projects before Ninjak kills him.

** [[ComicBook/Shadowman2012 Vol. 4]] issues #1-4--"Birth Rites" arc: [[BigRedDevil Mr. Twist]] is a hulking magical construct and devout follower of Master Darque who proves himself to be among the worst in the necromancer's employ. Committing a series of horrific city-wide massacres across New Orleans with hundreds killed, Mr. Twist idly has a suit fashioned for him by a terrified tailor after killing everyone else in the building before murdering the tailor, using the souls of all those he slaughters to bring Darque into the world and subject the entire world to his master's torments. Once finding an alternate method of freeing Darque through one of Jack's allies, Twist attempts to torturously extract it from him while killing all those who stand between him and Darque.
** [[ComicBook/Shadowman2018 Vol. 5]] issues #6-7--"Dead and Gone" arc: [[YourSoulIsMine The Soul Taker]] is a [[EvilSorcerer sorcerer]] in ancient Africa who bound a Loa of fire to him. Going on a brutal rampage, the Soul Taker kills many innocents, annihilating entire villages, and [[SoulEating eats their souls]] to enslave them within himself, demonstrating his power by sucking the soul out of [[WouldHurtAChild a young boy]]. ** Issues 36 & 37: [[WitchDoctor Andre Maurice Jubert]], better known as "Papa Juju" is a voodoo doctor and crime lord with a Harvard education who introduces a highly addictive--and highly lethal--drug called "Bloofer" onto the streets of New Orleans. Uncaring of the dozens of deaths the drug causes and planning to spread their sales even wider, Jubert uses Tetrodotoxin as an ingredient in the drug to [[AndIMustScream paralyze]] and [[BuriedAlive bury loose ends alive]] for days on end, unearthing them only when they become compliant, and sometimes leaving them buried.
