* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'': [[BigBad Prince Gihren Zabi]] is [[TheEvilPrince the eldest son]] of the Zabi family and de facto dictator of the Principality of Zeon. A cold, Machiavellian personality who takes being compared to UsefulNotes/AdolfHitler as a compliment and fully believes that DespotismJustifiesTheMeans, Gihren doesn't care about anyone's lives, including those of his own family members, and is willing to do anything to conquer the world. He turns his little brother's funeral into a political rally while the rest of his family looks on in horror; preaches a philosophy [[StrawHypocrite which he doesn't buy into himself]]; uses a ColonyDrop to exterminate vast swathes of Earth's population; deploys chemical weapons against the very colonies he claims to be liberating; and later blasts his own father and General Revil into oblivion just so they won't reach an armistice. When his sister Kycilia, no angel herself, confronts him about what he's done, Gihren's sneeringly offhanded disregard for her anger cements his status as an utterly hollow psychopath. Had he won, he admits that he would have reduced Earth's population to less than a billion and kept it that way so that they could never rise up against him. [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamThe08thMSTeam Side]]-[[Manga/MobileSuitGundamThePlotToAssassinateGihren stories]] involving him only add to his list of crimes--he helped Ginias Sahalin and his [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Apsalus Project]]; and arranged, through his secretary, Cecilia Irene, two elaborate false assassination plots with himself as the supposed victim in order to frame Kycilia and garner public support for clamping down on his political opposition. When Det. David Schiller became an UnwittingPawn in one of these schemes, he was rewarded by seeing his entire family, members of the anti-Zabi faction, imprisoned or executed. Decades after his introduction, Gihren remains the standard to which ''Gundam'''s other monsters aspire to, with numerous equally-monstrous expies influenced by him.

** [[AGodAmI Ribbons Almark]] is an unbelievably arrogant ArtificialHuman who views himself and his fellow "Innovators" as destined to rule over humanity. Setting himself up as a [[DarkMessiah messianic figure]], Ribbons takes control of the United Earth Federation after betraying Alejandro Corner--who genuinely liked him--and arranging for the death of Aeolia Schenburg, his creator. Almost all of the atrocities that Ali Al-Saachez commits, such as razing Azadistan; murdering the Trinity siblings--who Ribbons genetically engineered in the first place; and attempting to kill all the members of Celestial Being, were done on Ribbons's orders, and once he's ruler of the world, his crimes include ruthlessly manipulating the unstavle Louise Halevy into becoming his pawn, forcing Anew Returner into a battle to the death with her LoveInterest, using the A-Laws to crush anyone who gets in his way, and utilizing a KillSat to murder thousands of people.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam0080WarInThePocket'': While this first ''Gundam'' {{OVA}} is notable for GreyAndGrayMorality, there is no such morality for the [[SmugSnake smug]] [[InsaneAdmiral Colonel]] [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Killing]], the BigBad high-ranking Gihren loyalist (and Gihren {{expy}}) who took part in [[GrandTheftPrototype Operation Rubicon]]. He deliberately sabotaged Operation Rubicon (which revolved around stealing or destroying the new [[SuperPrototype Alex Gundam]]), causing the death of the whole Cyclops Team (only NewMeat Bernard Wiseman survived, and only because he got lucky); he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, orders the nukes launched, and prompts Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike. While the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces, all the suffering the protagonists of this miniseries go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].
* ''Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam'': The Titans were a haven for terrible people of all kinds, but none quite as bad as these two:

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ'', while LighterAndSofter than earlier works, especially ''[[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Zeta]]'', still has this duo:
** [[SociopathicSoldier Axis-Zeon]] AcePilot [[ColonelKilgore Rakan Dahkaran]] was an {{expy}} of ''Zeta's'' Yazan Gable, and, like his inspiration, a [[TheBrute brutal]], [[ImplacableMan nigh-unkillable]] BloodKnight with a [[IFightForTheStrongestSide tenuous grasp of personal loyalty]]. Cold-blooded and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Rakan has no qualms about harming civilians. This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he [[TheStoic impassively]] [[KickTheDog guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft]] fleeing the Dublin ColonyDrop, and destroys roads and bridges in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran Hayato Kobayashi when the latter tries to stop him, and, following his defection from Haman Khan's forces, willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] and Royal Guardsman Lance, before being stopped by Judau. Axis's go-to guy for the dirtiest of jobs, Rakan proves that in the end, his only loyalty is to himself.
** While the anime version of [[TeensAreMonsters Glemmy Toto]] had enough redeeming traits to keep him off this list, the same cannot be said for [[AdaptationalVillainy his manga counterpart]], a vicious SmugSnake and [[TheStarscream Starscream]] who is bad news from his first appearance to his last. Coldly manipulating Puru, an unstable ChildSoldier, into doing his killing for him, Glemmy keeps a small army of brainwashed clones of her as backup for when she inevitably dies on him. He burns down a village to draw out [[TheProtagonist Judau Ashta]], has a defecting Puru [[WouldHurtAChild killed]] by her EvilTwin Puru-2, and eventually [[TheStarscream betrays]] [[BigBad Haman Khan]], triggering a devastating EnemyCivilWar in the process, as he aims to make himself the dictatorial ruler of both Earth and the colonies, unleashing his entire clone army in the process. Idolising the franchise’s original CM, [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam Gihren Zabi]], [[YouClonedHitler whose DNA]] may [[ApocalypseHitler run in his veins]], Glemmy promises to be every bit as brutal a tyrant as he was, and betrays no concern at all for the dozens of little girls who are dying to make his dream a reality.
* ''Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam'': [[BigBad Fonse Kagatie]], the [[EvilOldFolks elderly]] [[EvilChancellor Prime Minister]] of the [[TheEmpire Zanscare Empire]], cynically exploited the [[AllLovingHero messianic]] [[TelepathicSpacemen psychic]] Maria Armonia's harmless pacifist cult to create a brutal military dictatorship, with [[PuppetKing Maria]] as [[DragonInChief his]] powerless figurehead. As the de facto ruler of Zanscare, he was responsible for green-lighting all of its atrocities, which included the mass execution of dissidents by [[OffWithHisHead guillotine]], [[RapePillageAndBurn burning entire towns]] to flush out [[LaResistance the League Militaire]], and genocide by [[ImprobableWeaponUser giant motorbike]]). His [[MoralEventHorizon worst act]] was creating and deploying the Angel Halo. The FinalSolution to Zanscare's war with the Earth Federation, the Halo was a psychic DoomsdayDevice designed to wipe out all intelligent life on Earth via MindRape, allowing Kagatie's empire to move in and take the planet unopposed. The power source was Maria (later replaced by her eleven-year-old daughter) and thousands of her followers, whom he tricked into believing that they were broadcasting messages of peace and goodwill rather than orchestrating a total planetary genocide. This also meant that they served as {{human shield}}s for the Halo, ensuring that every bit of damage it took was measured in innocent lives.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing'': While perhaps LighterAndSofter than other works in the franchise, that can't be said about the Romefeller Foundation's [[MadScientist Chief Engineer]], [[AxeCrazy Ken]] [[WarForFunAndProfit Tsubarov]]. A loud, abrasive {{jerkass}}, with NoIndoorVoice and a HairTriggerTemper, Tsubarov eventually reveals himself as a BloodKnight by proxy who enjoys watching his [[KillerRobot Mobile Dolls]] slaughter enemy soldiers, supporting [[DiscOneFinalBoss Duke Dermail]] [[PsychoSupporter in the hopes that the latter will trigger an enormous war]] for his Dolls to show off their skills. When [[TheBaroness Lady Une]], a major supporter of his project, reveals that she likes the automated Mobile Dolls because they will cut down on human casualties, Tsubarov turns on her, as he wants his Dolls to have the chance to kill people, and plenty of them. When the White Fang rebellion reaches the colonies, Tsubarov betrays Une, seizes control of the colonies, attempts to murder the captive Gundam pilots by cutting off their oxygen, and guns Une down when she tries to interfere. He proceeds to improve his Dolls, and begins construction of the KillSat[=/=][[TheBattlestar Battlestar]] ''Libra'' for his boss. When the rebels come for him, Tsubarov finally snaps, undergoes a huge VillainousBreakdown, and turns his Dolls loose on the civillian population, ranting like a madman the entire time about how, through them, he will achieve invincibility.
* ''Gundam Wing G Unit'': This SpinOff novel brings us Dr. Berg, a {{mad scientist}} suffering from a terminal case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder. He is willing to betray and murder in order to complete his research and create the most powerful Gundams ever, as he takes pride and joy in inventing newer and newer ways for humans to kill each other. He has no regard at all for human lives and only considers people as [[ForScience guinea pigs for him to toy with]]. It is also revealed later on that he arranged for the death of Dr. Burnett and his wife, the parents of series protagonists Odin and Odel, in order to divert fundings from their research to his own weapon manufacturing; this sends Odel, who is normally TheStoic, into an UnstoppableRage and drives him to kill Berg. Unfortunately, Berg initiates a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum and activates his Grand Shirio's doomsday program to [[ColonyDrop destroy the colonies and drop itself on Earth to pollute it with its nuclear engines]].

* ''Anime/AfterWarGundamX'': [[FantasticRacism Seidel Rasso]] is the leader of the Space Revolutionary Army. In the aftermath of a war that nearly wiped out humanity, Rasso became the leader of the twelve million people living on the colony of Cloud 9. Turning it into a {{police state}}, Rasso suppressed all dissent, and preached a MasterRace philosophy, founded on the notion that since [[PsychicPowers Newtypes]] could only be [[TelepathicSpacemen born in space]], the colonists, rather than the people of Earth, should control the destiny of the human race. [[StrawHypocrite Knowing this to be false]], Rasso also kept all information about Newtypes on Earth quiet, while gearing up for another war. Destroying the rebellious colony of Satelicon, including its largely civilian population, with [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill photon torpedoes]] in order to consolidate his power, Rasso had his [[TheDragon right-hand man]], Nichola, [[BadBoss arrested and summarily executed]] for [[EvilIsNotPacifist suggesting peace talks]] with the New Earth Federation, and tried to use a KillSat to exterminate those humans remaining on Earth. When the supercomputer DOME revealed that Newtypes were really no different from the rest of humanity, Rasso [[IgnoredEpiphany refused to accept it]], even as his {{archenemy}} (and ardent Newtype hater) Fixx Bloodman of the NEF reconsidered his own position. Pushing his own lies to the end, Rasso's last act was to violate a ceasefire between himself and Bloodman, ranting about how [[{{Muggles}} Oldtypes]] like the NEF president were all scum who deserved to die.

* ''Anime/TurnAGundam'': [[BigBad Gym Ghingnham]] is a cunning and ruthless manipulator with an intuitive grasp of ObfuscatingStupidity, a [[WarForFunAndProfit brutal warlord]] whose spurious "warrior philosophy" is chiefly an excuse for hurting people and can be dropped at a moment's notice if it gets him into trouble, and an entitled PsychopathicManchild who sees war as a game and human lives as points on the scoreboard. He [[IhaveYouNowMyPretty threatens to rape his guest/prisoner Kihel Heim]], [[BadBoss casually murders his subordinates on the slightest pretext]] (up to and including an impromptu weapons test for his new suit), and attempts to restart the Dark History, the centuries of apocalyptic warfare that nearly brought about the extinction of humanity, because [[BloodKnight he thinks it'd be fun]]. His crowning moment of evil likely comes when he kills his own [[TheDragon Dragon]] for offering him assistance in a battle...only to then turn around and beg for help from another subordinate the moment the fight is going against him.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED'': {{The sociopath}}ic Muruta Azrael, the [[ANaziByAnyOtherName Nazi-like]] leader of the terrorist organization Blue Cosmos, wants to kill all Coordinators[[note]]people created via genetic engineering[[/note]] by any means necessary and takes unholy delight in their wholesale slaughter, making [[BigBad Rau Le Creuset]] seem sympathetic. Azrael believes entirely that [[BadBoss his subordinates are expendable and willingly sacrifices millions of them]] just to see all the Coordinators burn. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses drugs and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} followers, referred to as the Extended, while claiming that genetic engineering is a sin, Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having started the war by [[NukeEm launching a nuclear assault on the Coordinator homeland]], Azrael hopes to end it the same way, and is willing to blow up his own men to do it. His sole motivation is that [[DisproportionateRetribution he was bullied by Coordinators when he was a kid]]. The side-story, ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDCE73Stargazer'', adds some further atrocities to Azrael's name, showing that he regularly [[WouldHurtAChild took children from their parents]], put them through TrainingFromHell and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashed them]] with anti-Coordinator propaganda in an effort at creating pilots who could match Coordinators in combat, without the drug problems of the Extended. Other villains might kill more people, but when it comes to the spreading of sheer human misery, no other villain in the ''CE'' verse can hold a candle to Azrael.
* ''Manga/MobileSuitGundamSeedAstray'': [[SociopathicSoldier Ash Gray]] is an AcePilot for the ZAFT special forces and essentially a SerialKiller with a mobile suit. Joining the military solely to kill as many people as possible, Ash adds a doll to his collection for each victim he kills, seeing these as his trophies. Assigned to hunt down Lacus Clyne, Ash destroys the Erudou space station and comes up with the idea of gunning down civilians to catch her attention, a plan that is protested by a ZAFT officer shortly after. Opening fire against the Junk Guild's ship, Ash gladly mocks Lowe's optimistic beliefs regarding the human nature, confessing to killing people simply because he enjoys it. Left in command of a KillSat, the Genesis Alpha, Ash can only think to himself how much damage he will be able to inflict with it. Falling directly into Earth Alliance territory, Ash is assimilated into the Extended program and returns as one of their scouts, using a computer virus to alter the Genesis Alpha's targeting data, nearly causing it to fire at earth. Breaking free of the brainwashing, Ash causes the Genesis Alpha to destroy an Earth Alliance base before committing suicide.
* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny'': [[AristocratsAreEvil Lord]] [[DiabolicalMastermind Djibril]] is Azrael's successor, with all of his predecessor's FantasticRacism and contemptibility, but [[GeneralFailure none of his intelligence]] or charisma. Having returned Blue Cosmos to its terrorist roots, he has his minions [[WouldHurtAChild perform horrible experiments on children]], whom he then brainwashed into ChildSoldiers; opens the war with a [[NukeEm nuclear assault on the colonies]]; unleashes the [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction Destroy]] on Eurasia--leading to the deaths of thousands, if not millions, of civilians and the burning of Berlin--personally kills over a million innocents with a WaveMotionGun while bragging about having the guts to do something like this; and is responsible for turning Mu La Flaga into [[CriminalAmnesiac Neo Roanoke]]. He exploits the tragedy of the Junius 7 ColonyDrop to start another war; forms a new anti-Coordinator alliance; keeps up Azrael's horrible treatment of the Extended, using PsychoSerum addiction-with fatal withdrawal symptoms--and mental rewrites to maintain their loyalty; and continues the practice of raising kids to be the [[BrainwashedAndCrazy indoctrinated soldiers]] mentioned in ''Stargazer''. Convinced that his own survival is paramount above all else, Djibril [[DirtyCoward regularly abandons his allies when the going gets tough]], and entertains plans of ruling the world when the war is over. Essentially what happens when you give someone with the personality of a low-functioning {{sociopath}} and jumped-up school bully access to unlimited resources and technology, Djibril reacts to every problem with greater and greater amounts of brute force and indiscriminate murder, as he tries to simultaneously hang onto his position of power and [[FinalSolution bring down the curtain on the Coordinators as a race]]. He's a combination of impotent rage and cowardice, but with the money, influence, and total immorality to make him horrifying instead of merely pathetic.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam00'':

He do this because it's his way of stroking his own inflated ego. In general he's less a character and more a superiority complex that walks like a man.
** [[WarForFunAndProfit Ali Al-Saachez]], who serves as Almark's [[TheDragon top henchman]], exists solely to make the world a much worse place. A [[TheSociopath sociopathic]] BloodKnight, Ali is a self-admitted PsychoForHire who flat out states that he's "[[CardCarryingVillain the worst kind of person there is]]," Ali will do anything if the pay is right. He raised an army of {{Child Soldier}}s while in Krugis, convincing them that every act of terrorism they committed (including murdering their own parents) was being done in the name of God-a God that [[StrawHypocrite Ali does not believe in]]; he was in it for the money. During the course of the show he proceeds to [[HeroKiller kill off a sizeable number of characters]], including Lockon I, supposed allies Michael and Johan Trinity, and Kinue Crossroad, singlehandedly burn down a country, and aid an AncientConspiracy in a successful bid to TakeOverTheWorld. He even goes out a bastard, dying while trying to [[InTheBack backstab]] a man who had [[UngratefulBastard just spared]] [[ISurrenderSuckers his life]]. Ali is inordinately proud of his worst acts and brags about them whenever he has a captive audience ("See that kid? Somebody kidnapped him, raped his mind, and turned him into a child soldier." That someone, was me!"); it says a lot about his character that he actually finds empathy [[LackOfEmpathy disgusting]].

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamAGE'': [[SociopathicSoldier Desil Galette]], a [[ChildSoldier seven-year old]] Vagan AcePilot when first introduced, sees [[BloodKnight war as a game]], and his victims as nothing more than expendable toys. As the pilot of the [[TransformingMecha Zedas]], he spearheads genocidal attacks on colonies, and is implied to be the one who orphaned [[MysteriousWaif Yurin L’Ciel]]. He subsequently hijacks the AGE-1, and tests out its capabilities by [[WeHaveReserves butchering his own allies]]. He later captures Yurin, puts her inside of a remote-controlled mobile suit, and forces her to attack her LoveInterest, Flit. When Yurin tries to fight off his control, Desil kills her, while laughing about how she was "just a plaything." That’s all in the First Generation. By the Second Generation, he’s thirty-three years old and has, if anything, [[PsychoForHire gotten worse]]. Deeply resentful of his younger brother [[{{Antivillain}} Zeheart]] for having been promoted past him, he takes more and more insane risks. This ultimately leads to his getting most of [[EliteMooks the Magicians Eight]] killed as a part of a grudge match against Flit and murdering Flit's friend, and Flit's son Asemu's mentor, Woolf. It gets to the point where [[NobleDemon Zeheart]], realizing what his brother has become, leaves Desil to die at Asemu’s hands in the aftermath of a losing battle.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamIronBloodedOrphans'': [[EvilOldFolks Nobliss Gordon]] is {{greed}} personified. While he is publicly a beloved businessman and supporter of noble revolutions, [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Nobliss]] is in truth [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist a greedy monster who cares nothing for any cause but filling his wallet]]. [[TheChessmaster Manipulating the young Kudelia Aina Bernstein]] into becoming the figurehead for the Mars independence movement, Nobliss has her spied on while tricking the revolutionaries into dying pointlessly. When Kudelia reaches the height of popularity, Nobliss attempts to have her murdered to make her a martyr and [[WarForFunAndProfit spark the biggest, bloodiest , most violent revolution imaginable to profit on it]] from [[ArmsDealer his arms trade]]. While mostly DemotedToExtra in the second season, Nobliss continues his corrupt practices by manipulating the media to portray victimized ChildSoldiers as villains in the media to help facilitate their slaughter and continue to line his pockets.

** [[SociopathicSoldier Yazan Gable]] is a [[BloodKnight warmonger]] who goes so far to admit that he [[PsychoForHire joined the Titans' military]] so he could legally kill members of the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG). He has no interest in the rules of warfare, murders solely because he is good at it, and gladly participates in the Grenada ColonyDrop, knowing it would have killed thousands of civilians and seeing it as an opportunity to shoot down anyone who tries to defend Grenada. When a superior officer tries to stop a pointless battle, Yazan takes this as a hindrance to his bloodlust and arranges for the officer to die at the hands of an AEUG pilot. Convinced that his own survival is paramount above all else, Djibril [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere regularly abandons his allies]] when the [[DirtyCoward going gets tough]], and entertains plans of [[TakeOverTheWorld ruling the world]] when the war is over. Essentially what happens when you give someone with the personality of a low-functioning [[TheSociopath sociopath]] and [[TheBully jumped-up school bully]] access to unlimited resources and technology, Djibril reacts to every problem with greater and greater amounts of [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill brute force]] and [[MurderIsTheBestSolution indiscriminate murder]], as he tries to simultaneously hang onto his position of power and [[FinalSolution bring down the curtain on the Coordinators as a race]]. He's a combination of [[HairTriggerTemper impotent rage]] and cowardice, but with the [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney money]], [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections influence]], and total immorality to make him horrifying instead of merely pathetic.

This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he [[TheStoic impassively]] [[KickTheDog guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft]] fleeing the Dublin ColonyDrop, and destroys roads and bridges in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran Hayato Kobayashi when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello and Royal Guardsman, Lance, before being stopped by Judau. Axis's go-to guy for the dirtiest of jobs, Rakan proves that in the end, his only loyalty is to himself.

He burns down a village to draw out [[TheProtagonist Judau Ashta]], has a defecting Puru [[WouldHurtAChild killed]] by her EvilTwin Puru-2, and eventually [[TheStarscream betrays]] [[BigBad Haman Khan]], triggering a devastating EnemyCivilWar in the process, as he aims to make himself the dictatorial ruler of both Earth and the colonies, unleashing his entire clone army in the process. Idolising the franchise’s original CM, [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam Gihren Zabi]], Glemmy promises to be every bit as brutal a tyrant as he was, and betrays no concern at all for the dozens of little girls who are dying to make his dream a reality.

* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing'': While perhaps the [[LighterAndSofter lightest of the series]], with most of the villains being {{Well Intentioned Extremist}}s, being too pathetic to qualify, or being out and out {{antivillain}}s. None of those things can be said about the Romefeller Foundation's [[MadScientist Chief Engineer]], [[AxeCrazy Ken]] [[WarForFunAndProfit Tsubarov]]. A loud, abrasive {{jerkass}}, with NoIndoorVoice and a HairTriggerTemper, Tsubarov eventually reveals himself as a BloodKnight by proxy who enjoys watching his [[KillerRobot Mobile Dolls]] slaughter enemy soldiers, supporting [[DiscOneFinalBoss Duke Dermail]] [[PsychoSupporter in the hopes that the latter will trigger an enormous war]] for his Dolls to show off their skills. When [[TheBaroness Lady Une]], a major supporter of his project, reveals that she likes the automated Mobile Dolls because they will cut down on human casualties, Tsubarov turns on her, as he wants his Dolls to have the chance to kill people, and plenty of them. When the White Fang rebellion reaches the colonies, Tsubarov betrays Une, seizes control of the colonies, attempts to murder the captive Gundam pilots by cutting off their oxygen, and guns Une down when she tries to interfere. He proceeds to improve his Dolls, and begins construction of the KillSat[=/=][[TheBattlestar Battlestar]] ''Libra'' for his boss. When the rebels come for him, Tsubarov finally snaps, undergoes a huge VillainousBreakdown, and turns his Dolls loose on the civillian population, ranting like a madman the entire time about how, through them, he will achieve invincibility.
* ''Gundam Wing G Unit'': This SpinOff novel brings us Dr. Berg, a {{mad scientist}} suffering from a terminal case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder. Heis willing to betray and murder in order to complete his research and create the most powerful Gundams ever, as he takes pride and joy in inventing newer and newer ways for humans to kill each other. He has no regard at all for human lives and only considers people as [[ForScience guinea pigs for him to toy with]]. It is also revealed later on that he arranged for the death of Dr. Burnett and his wife, the parents of series protagonists Odin and Odel, in order to divert fundings from their research to his own weapon manufacturing; this sends Odel, who is normally TheStoic, into an UnstoppableRage and drives him to kill Berg. Unfortunately, Berg initiates a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum and activates his Grand Shirio's doomsday program to [[ColonyDrop destroy the colonies and drop itself on Earth to pollute it with its nuclear engines].

The various ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' series have a habit of trying to show war in various [[GrayAndGrayMorality shades of gray]], and as a result, most villains (if they can even [[AntiVillain be called that]]) are tempered with sympathetic human qualities. However, there are still exceptions to the rule...

* In the first ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'' series, there's [[TheEvilPrince Prince Gihren Zabi]], eldest son of the [[BigScrewedUpFamily Zabi family]], ''[[DragonInChief de facto]]'' [[EvilChancellor dictator]] of the [[TheEmpire Principality of Zeon]], and the franchise's original CM. A cold, [[ManipulativeBastard Machiavellian]] personality who fully believes that DespotismJustifiesTheMeans, Gihren doesn't [[LackOfEmpathy care about anyone's lives]], including those of his own family members, and is willing to do anything to achieve WorldDomination. He takes [[ANaziByAnyOtherName being compared to]] UsefulNotes/AdolfHitler as ''[[InsultBackfire a compliment]]'', turns his little brother's funeral into a political rally while the rest of his family looks on in horror, preaches a MasterRace philosophy (that he [[StrawHypocrite doesn't buy into himself]]), uses a ColonyDrop to exterminate vast swathes of earth's population, [[DeadlyGas deploys chemical weapons]] against the [[{{hypocrite}} very colonies he claims to be liberating]], and later [[spoiler:{{Wave Motion Gun}}s ''[[SelfMadeOrphan his own father]]'' and [[BigGood General Revil]] into oblivion just so they won't reach an armistice]], never displaying any emotions beyond self-satisfaction and contempt. When his sister [[BadassPrincess Kycilia]] ([[WeHaveReserves no]] [[TheBaroness angel]] [[EvilGenius herself]]) [[EvenEvilHasStandards confronts him about what he's done]], Gihren's [[SmugSnake sneeringly offhanded disregard]] for her anger cements his status as an utterly hollow [[TheSociopath psychopath]]. Had he won, he admits that he would have reduced the earth's population to less than a billion and kept it that way so that they could never rise up against him. Sidestories like ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamThe08thMSTeam The 08th MS Team]]'' and ''ThePlotToAssassinateGihren'' only add to his list of crimes--he was TheManBehindTheMan to MadScientist Ginias Sahalin and his [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction Apsalus Project]], and arranged (through his secretary, [[TheDragon Cecilia Irene]]) two elaborate false assassination plots with himself as the supposed victim in order to frame Kycilia and garner public support for clamping down on his political opposition. When Det. David Schiller became an UnwittingPawn in one of these schemes, he was [[UngratefulBastard rewarded]] by seeing his entire family (members of the anti-Zabi faction) imprisoned or executed. Decades after his introduction, Gihren remains the standard to which ''Gundam'''s other monsters aspire to.
* ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam0080WarInThePocket'' stands out among ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' series as the one with the most GreyAndGrayMorality, and yet it does have one Complete Monster, [[InsaneAdmiral Colonel]] [[SmugSnake Killing]], the high-ranking Gihren loyalist (and Gihren {{expy}}) who took part in [[GrandTheftPrototype Operation Rubicon]]. His name [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast should be a dead giveaway]], but just for the lowdown: this bastard deliberately sabotaged Operation Rubicon (which revolved around stealing or destroying the new [[SuperPrototype Alex Gundam]]), causing the death of the whole Cyclops Team (only NewMeat Bernard Wiseman survived, and only because he got lucky). And he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, ordering the nukes launched, and prompting [[spoiler:Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike]]. [[spoiler:Luckily, the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces]], but all the suffering the protagonists of this mini-series go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].
* The Titans from ''Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam'' were a haven for terrible people of all kinds, but none quite as bad as these two:

He has no interest in the rules of warfare, murders solely because he is good at it, and gladly participates in the Grenada ColonyDrop, which would have killed thousands of civilians, seeing it as an opportunity to shoot down anyone who tries to defend Grenada. When his superior officer, Jamaican Danigan, tries to stop Yazan from fighting a pointless battle, Yazan [[UnfriendlyFire arranges]] for Jamaican and several members of the ''[[CoolShip Alexandria]]'''s bridge crew to die at the hands of AEUG ace Emma Sheen. He later betrays Titans' leaders [[DiscOneFinalBoss Jamitov Hymem]] and [[TheDragon Bask Om]] to [[BigBad Paptimus]] [[DarkMessiah Scirocco]] because he believes that [[IFightForTheStrongestSide Scirocco is stronger than they are]], and in the finale goes on an [[HeroKiller epic killing spree]] that results in the deaths of [[spoiler:[[TagalongKid Katz Kobayashi]], [[TheCaptain Henken Bekkener]], the entire crew of the ''Radish'', [[CoolBigSis Emma Sheen]]]] and his own teammate [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn Reccoa Londe]]]] whom he kills alongside [[spoiler:Emma]]. If that weren't bad enough, he subsequently orders two massive [[DeadlyGas colony gassings]]. This is on top of being the man responsible for the Titans' brutal treatment of the colonies in the first place, favouring the seizure and murder of hostages to get people to go along with his plans, and being a major proponent of the use of [[{{Tykebomb}} Cyber-Newtypes]], teenage {{super soldier}}s created through MindRape and a cocktail of PsychoSerum. [[AntiVillain Jerid Messa]], [[SmugSnake Gady Kinsey]], and even BigBad [[ManipulativeBastard Paptimus]] [[MindRape Scirocco]] all find him thoroughly distasteful, and it's one of the Titans, [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn former]] CoolBigSis Reccoa Londe, who finally [[EvenEvilHasStandards kills him in the end]]]].

The FinalSolution to Zanscare's war with the Earth Federation, the Halo was a psychic DoomsdayDevice designed to wipe out all intelligent life on Earth via MindRape, allowing Kagatie's empire to move in and take the planet unopposed. For extra evil points, its power source was Maria (later replaced by her eleven-year-old daughter) and thousands of her followers, who he tricked into believing that they were broadcasting messages of peace and goodwill rather than orchestrating a total planetary genocide. This also meant that they served as {{Human Shield}}s for the Halo, ensuring that every bit of damage it took was measured in innocent lives.

* ''Anime/AfterWarGundamX'' gives us Seidel Rasso, leader of the Space Revolutionary Army. In the aftermath of a war that nearly wiped out humanity, Rasso became the leader of the twelve million people living on the colony of Cloud 9. Turning it into a PoliceState, Rasso suppressed all dissent, and preached a MasterRace philosophy, founded on the notion that since [[PsychicPowers Newtypes]] could only be [[TelepathicSpacemen born in space]], the colonists, rather than the people of Earth, should control the destiny of the human race. [[StrawHypocrite Knowing this to be false]], Rasso also kept all information about Newtypes on Earth quiet, while gearing up for another war. Destroying the rebellious colony of Satelicon, including its largely civilian population, with [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill photon torpedoes]] in order to consolidate his power, Rasso had his right-hand man, Nichola, arrested and summarily executed for [[EvilIsNotPacifist suggesting peace talks]] with the New Earth Federation, and tried to use a KillSat to exterminate those humans remaining on Earth. When the supercomputer DOME revealed that Newtypes were really no different from the rest of humanity, Rasso [[IgnoredEpiphany refused to accept it]], even as his {{archenemy}} (and ardent Newtype hater) Fixx Bloodman of the NEF reconsidered his own position. Pushing his own lies to the end, Rasso's last act was to violate a ceasefire between himself and Bloodman, ranting about how [[{{Muggles}} Oldtypes]] like the NEF president were all scum who deserved to die.

* Gym Ghingnham of ''Anime/TurnAGundam'' is many things, none of them pleasant. He's a cunning and ruthless manipulator with an intuitive grasp of ObfuscatingStupidity, a brutal warlord whose spurious 'warrior philosophy' is chiefly an excuse for hurting people and can be dropped at a moment's notice if it gets him into trouble, and an entitled PsychopathicManchild who sees war as a game and human lives as points on the scoreboard. He threatens to rape his guest/prisoner Kihel Heim, [[BadBoss casually murders his subordinates on the slightest pretext]] (up to and including an impromptu weapons test for his new suit), and attempts to restart the Dark History, the centuries of apocalyptic warfare that nearly brought about the extinction of humanity, because [[BloodKnight he thinks it'd be fun]]. His crowning moment of evil likely comes when he kills [[spoiler:his own [[TheDragon Dragon]]]] for offering him assistance in a battle...only to then turn around and beg for help from another subordinate the moment the fight is going against him.

* Muruta Azrael from ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED'', leader of the [[WesternTerrorists terrorist organization]] [[MugglePower Blue Cosmos]], who wants to [[FinalSolution kill all]] [[GattacaBabies Coordinators]] (people created via genetic engineering) by [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction any means necessary]] and takes [[LaughingMad unholy delight]] in their wholesale slaughter. He's also [[HeManWomanHater misogynistic]], [[ManChild childish]], [[SmugSnake smug]], arrogant, condescending, and [[PsychopathicManchild enthusiastically psychotic]]. He believes entirely that his subordinates [[WeHaveReserves are expendable]] and willingly sacrifices millions of them just to see all the Coordinators [[NukeEm burn]]. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses [[PsychoSerum drugs]] and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} {{Super Soldier}}s, (referred to as the Extended) while claiming that genegineering is a sin (it's heavily implied that this is a case of DrivenByEnvy), Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having started the war by launching a nuclear assault on the Coordinator homeland, Azrael hopes to [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill end it the same way]], and is willing to blow up his own men to do it. The sheer hatefulness of his plan is only reinforced by the FreudianExcuse he uses to justify himself (he was bullied by Coordinators when he was a kid. [[EvilIsPetty Yeah,]] [[DisproportionateRetribution that's about it]]), and his eventual VillainousBreakdown is a source of pure terror for everyone who witnesses it. He manages to make the series' actual BigBad (a ranting OmnicidalManiac) look [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds downright sympathetic]] in comparison, and he's so utterly vile that he causes hardline SergeantRock Natarle Badgiruel to pull a HeelFaceTurn. ''GundamSEEDDestiny'''s sidestory, ''CE 73: Stargazer'' adds some further atrocities to Azrael's name, showing that he made a regular practise of taking children from their parents, putting them through TrainingFromHell and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashing them]] with anti-Coordinator propaganda in an effort at creating pilots who could match Coordinators in combat, without the [[PsychoSerum drug problems]] of the Extended. When one of the instructors protests the treatment of the children, Azrael shrugs it off. The results of the program all share Azrael's fantastic racism and drive for genocide, while being emotionally scarred at best and psychopathic at the worst. Other villains might kill more people, but when it comes to the spreading of sheer human misery, no other villain in the ''CE'' verse can hold a candle to Azrael.
* [[DiabolicalMastermind Lord Djibril]] from ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny'', is Azrael's successor as Blue Cosmos' [[TheLeader leader]] and as TheManBehindTheMan to the Atlantic Federation and Earth Alliance Forces, with all of his [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain racism]] and [[SmugSnake contemptibility]], but [[GeneralFailure none of his intelligence]] [[NoIndoorVoice or charisma]]. Essentially what happens when you give someone with the personality of a low-functioning [[TheSociopath sociopath]] and [[TheBully jumped-up school bully]] access to unlimited resources and technology, Djibril reacts to every problem with greater and greater amounts of [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill brute force]] and [[MurderIsTheBestSolution indiscriminate murder]], as he tries to simultaneously hang onto his position of power and [[FinalSolution bring down the curtain on the Coordinators as a race]]. He's a combination of [[HairTriggerTemper impotent rage]] and [[DirtyCoward cowardice]], but with the [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney money]], [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections influence]], and total immorality to make him horrifying instead of merely pathetic.

A self-admitted PsychoForHire who flat out states that he's "[[CardCarryingVillain the worst kind of person there is]]," Ali will do anything if the pay is right. He raised an army of {{Child Soldier}}s while in Krugis, convincing them that every act of terrorism they committed, (including murdering their own parents) was being done in the name of God--a God that Ali does not believe in; he was in it for the money. During the course of the show he proceeds to [[HeroKiller kill off a sizeable number of characters]], including [[spoiler:Lockon I]], [[spoiler:supposed allies Michael and Johan Trinity]], and [[spoiler:Kinue Crossroad]], singlehandedly burn down a country, and aid an AncientConspiracy in a successful bid to TakeOverTheWorld. He even goes out a bastard, dying while trying to [[InTheBack backstab]] a man who had [[UngratefulBastard just spared]] [[ISurrenderSuckers his life]]. Ali is inordinately proud of his worst acts and brags about them whenever he has a captive audience ("See that kid? Somebody kidnapped him, raped his mind, and turned him into a child soldier." That someone, was me!"); it says a lot about his character that he actually finds empathy ''[[LackOfEmpathy disgusting]]''.
** Ali's [[BigBad boss]], [[SmugSnake Ribbons Almark]], is just as bad. An unbelievably arrogant [[ArtificialHumans Artifical Human]], Ribbons views himself, and his fellow "Innovators" as a SuperiorSpecies destined to rule over humanity. Setting himself up as a [[DarkMessiah messianic figure]] (while harbouring even greater [[AGodAmI delusions of grandeur]]), Ribbons takes control of the United Earth Federation after betraying [[DiscOneFinalBoss Alejandro Corner]] (who genuinely liked him) and arranging for the [[SelfMadeOrphan death of Aeolia Schenburg]], his creator. Almost all of the above-mentionted atrocities that Ali Al-Saachez commits--razing Azadistan, murdering the Trinity siblings (whom Ribbons genegeneered in the first place), attempting to kill all the members of Celestial Being--were done on Ribbons' orders, and once he's ruler of the world, he ''really'' comes into his own, ruthlessly manipulating Louise Halevy (a horribly unstable DarkActionGirl) into becoming his pawn, forcing ManchurianAgent Anew Returner into a battle to the death with her LoveInterest, using the [[StateSec A-Laws]] to crush anyone who gets in his way, and utilising a KillSat to murder thousands of people. Why does he do this? Because it's his way of stroking his own inflated ego. In general he's less a character and more the superiority complex that walks like a man.

* Decil Galette of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamAGE'' is what happens when you take the EnfanteTerrible trope and turn it UpToEleven. A [[ChildSoldier seven-year old]] SociopathicSoldier and Vagan AcePilot when first introduced, Decil sees war as a game, and his victims as nothing more than expendable toys. As the pilot of the [[TransformingMecha Zedas]], he spearheads genocidal attacks on colonies, and is implied to be the one who orphaned [[MysteriousWaif Yurin L’Ciel]]. He subsequently hijacks the AGE-1, and tests out its capabilities by [[WeHaveReserves butchering his own allies]]. He later captures Yurin, puts her inside of a remote-controlled mobile suit, and forces her to attack her LoveInterest, Flit. When Yurin tries to fight off his control, [[spoiler:Decil kills her, while laughing about how she was “just a plaything.”]] That’s all in the First Generation. By the Second Generation, he’s thirty-three years old and has, if anything, [[PsychoForHire gotten worse]]. Deeply resentful of his younger brother [[{{Antivillain}} Zeheart]] for being promoted past him, he takes more and more insane risks. Whilst, as the de facto ruler of Zanscare, he was responsible for green-lighting all of its atrocities (which included the mass execution of dissidents by [[OffWithHisHead guillotine]], [[RapePillageAndBurn burning entire towns]] to flush out [[LaResistance the League Militaire]], and genocide by [[ImprobableWeaponUser giant motorbike]]), his worst act by far was creating and deploying the Angel Halo. The FinalSolution to Zanscare's war with the Earth Federation, the Halo was a psychic DoomsdayDevice designed to wipe out all intelligent life on Earth via MindRape, allowing Kagatie's empire to move in and take the planet unopposed. For extra evil points, its power source was Maria (later replaced by her eleven-year-old daughter) and thousands of her followers, who he tricked into believing that they were broadcasting messages of peace and goodwill rather than orchestrating a total planetary genocide. This also meant that they served as {{Human Shield}}s for the Halo, ensuring that every bit of damage it took was measured in innocent lives.

** [[SociopathicSoldier Yazan]] "[[CatchPhrase I’m gonna violate you!]]" [[BloodKnight Gable]], a [[TheBrute thuggish]] PsychoForHire and adrenaline junkie who freely admits that the whole reason he joined the [[StateSec Titans]] was so that he could satisfy his bloodlust by legally killing members of the [[LaResistance Anti Earth Union Group]] (AEUG). He has no interest in the rules of warfare, murders solely because he is good at it, and gladly participates in the Grenada ColonyDrop, which would have killed thousands of civilians, seeing it as an opportunity to shoot down anyone who tries to defend Grenada. When his superior officer, Jamaican Danigan, tries to stop Yazan from fighting a pointless battle, Yazan [[UnfriendlyFire arranges]] for Jamaican and several members of the ''[[CoolShip Alexandria]]'''s bridge crew to die at the hands of AEUG ace Emma Sheen. His name [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast should be a dead giveaway]], but just for the lowdown: this bastard deliberately sabotaged Operation Rubicon (which revolved around stealing or destroying the new [[SuperPrototype Alex Gundam]]), causing the death of the whole Cyclops Team (only NewMeat Bernard Wiseman survived, and only because he got lucky). And he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, ordering the nukes launched, and prompting [[spoiler:Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike]]. [[spoiler:Luckily, the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces]], but all the suffering the protagonists of this mini-series go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].
* The Titans from ''ZetaGundam'' were a haven for terrible people of all kinds, but none quite as bad as these two:

* ''GundamWing'' is perhaps the lightest of the series, with most of the villains being {{Well Intentioned Extremist}}s, being too pathetic to qualify, or being out and out {{antivillain}}s. None of those things can be said about the Romefeller Foundation's [[MadScientist Chief Engineer]], [[AxeCrazy Ken]] [[WarForFunAndProfit Tsubarov]]. A loud, abrasive {{jerkass}}, with NoIndoorVoice and a HairTriggerTemper, Tsubarov eventually reveals himself as a BloodKnight by proxy who enjoys watching his [[KillerRobot Mobile Dolls]] slaughter enemy soldiers a tad more than is healthy, supporting DiscOneFinalBoss Duke Dermail [[PsychoSupporter in the hopes that the latter will trigger an enormous war]] for his Dolls to show off their skills in. When [[TheBaroness Lady Une]], a major supporter of his project, reveals that she likes the automated Mobile Dolls because they will cut down on human casualties, Tsubarov turns on her--he wants his Dolls to have the chance to kill people, and plenty of them. When the White Fang rebellion reaches the colonies, Tsubarov betrays Une, seizing control of the colonies, attempting to murder the captive Gundam pilots by cutting off their oxygen, and gunning Une down when she tries to interfere. He proceeds to improve his Dolls, and begins construction of the KillSat[=/=][[TheBattlestar Battlestar]] ''Libra'' for his boss. When the rebels come for him, Tsubarov finally snaps, undergoes a huge VillainousBreakdown, and turns his Dolls loose on the civillian population, ranting like a madman the entire time about how, through them, he will achieve invincibility.

* ''AfterWarGundamX'' gives us Seidel Rasso, leader of the Space Revolutionary Army. In the aftermath of a war that nearly wiped out humanity, Rasso became the leader of the twelve million people living on the colony of Cloud 9. Turning it into a PoliceState, Rasso suppressed all dissent, and preached a MasterRace philosophy, founded on the notion that since [[PsychicPowers Newtypes]] could only be [[TelepathicSpacemen born in space]], the colonists, rather than the people of Earth, should control the destiny of the human race. [[StrawHypocrite Knowing this to be false]], Rasso also kept all information about Newtypes on Earth quiet, while gearing up for another war. Destroying the rebellious colony of Satelicon, including its largely civilian population, with [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill photon torpedoes]] in order to consolidate his power, Rasso had his right-hand man, Nichola, arrested and summarily executed for [[EvilIsNotPacifist suggesting peace talks]] with the New Earth Federation, and tried to use a KillSat to exterminate those humans remaining on Earth. When the supercomputer DOME revealed that Newtypes were really no different from the rest of humanity, Rasso [[IgnoredEpiphany refused to accept it]], even as his {{archenemy}} (and ardent Newtype hater) Fixx Bloodman of the NEF reconsidered his own position. Pushing his own lies to the end, Rasso's last act was to violate a ceasefire between himself and Bloodman, ranting about how [[{{Muggles}} Oldtypes]] like the NEF president were all scum who deserved to die.

* Muruta Azrael from ''GundamSEED'', leader of the [[WesternTerrorists terrorist organization]] [[MugglePower Blue Cosmos]], who wants to [[FinalSolution kill all]] [[GattacaBabies Coordinators]] (people created via genetic engineering) by [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction any means necessary]] and takes [[LaughingMad unholy delight]] in their wholesale slaughter. He's also [[HeManWomanHater misogynistic]], [[ManChild childish]], [[SmugSnake smug]], arrogant, condescending, and [[PsychopathicManchild enthusiastically psychotic]]. He believes entirely that his subordinates [[WeHaveReserves are expendable]] and willingly sacrifices millions of them just to see all the Coordinators [[NukeEm burn]]. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses [[PsychoSerum drugs]] and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} {{Super Soldier}}s, (referred to as the Extended) while claiming that genegineering is a sin (it's heavily implied that this is a case of DrivenByEnvy), Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having started the war by launching a nuclear assault on the Coordinator homeland, Azrael hopes to [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill end it the same way]], and is willing to blow up his own men to do it. The sheer hatefulness of his plan is only reinforced by the FreudianExcuse he uses to justify himself (he was bullied by Coordinators when he was a kid. [[EvilIsPetty Yeah,]] [[DisproportionateRetribution that's about it]]), and his eventual VillainousBreakdown is a source of pure terror for everyone who witnesses it. He manages to make the series' actual BigBad (a ranting OmnicidalManiac) look [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds downright sympathetic]] in comparison, and he's so utterly vile that he causes hardline SergeantRock Natarle Badgiruel to pull a HeelFaceTurn. ''GundamSEEDDestiny'''s sidestory, ''CE 73: Stargazer'' adds some further atrocities to Azrael's name, showing that he made a regular practise of taking children from their parents, putting them through TrainingFromHell and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashing them]] with anti-Coordinator propaganda in an effort at creating pilots who could match Coordinators in combat, without the [[PsychoSerum drug problems]] of the Extended. When one of the instructors protests the treatment of the children, Azrael shrugs it off. The results of the program all share Azrael's fantastic racism and drive for genocide, while being emotionally scarred at best and psychopathic at the worst. Other villains might kill more people, but when it comes to the spreading of sheer human misery, no other villain in the ''CE'' verse can hold a candle to Azrael.

* ''{{Gundam 0080}}'' stands out among ''{{Gundam}}'' series as the one with the most GreyAndGrayMorality, and yet it does have one Complete Monster, [[InsaneAdmiral Colonel]] [[SmugSnake Killing]], the high-ranking Gihren loyalist (and Gihren {{expy}}) who took part in [[{{Gundamjack}} Operation Rubicon]]. And he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, ordering the nukes launched, and prompting [[spoiler:Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike]]. [[spoiler:Luckily, the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces]], but all the suffering the protagonists of this mini-series go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].

* Decil Galette of ''GundamAGE'' is what happens when you take the EnfanteTerrible trope and turn it UpToEleven. A [[ChildSoldier seven-year old]] SociopathicSoldier and Vagan AcePilot when first introduced, Decil sees war as a game, and his victims as nothing more than expendable toys. As the pilot of the [[TransformingMecha Zedas]], he spearheads genocidal attacks on colonies, and is implied to be the one who orphaned [[MysteriousWaif Yurin L’Ciel]]. He subsequently {{Gundamjack}}s the AGE-1, and tests out its capabilities by [[WeHaveReserves butchering his own allies]]. He later captures Yurin, puts her inside of a remote-controlled mobile suit, and forces her to attack her LoveInterest, Flit. Cold-blooded and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Rakan is not above harming civilians. This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he [[TheStoic impassively]] [[KickTheDog guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft]] fleeing the Dublin ColonyDrop, in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran [[spoiler:Hayato Kobayashi]] when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[spoiler:AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] and [[spoiler:Royal Guardsman, Lance]] before [[spoiler:being stopped by Judau]].
