* Canon Flan vs Fanon Flan [[labelnote:Explanation]]Because Flandre's only appearance for years had been in her home game, the fanon idea of her being an AxCrazy psychopath locked away to protect the world from her wanton destruction became her most commonly accepted interpretation. Following her appearances in ''Cheating Detective Satori'' and ''Gouyoku Ibun'' in recent years, where she's shown to be sane and has a good grasp on her powers, many jokes have been made about how fans see her as a monster when really she's just a (mostly) normal girl. Oddly enough, it got reversed in many ways after the release of Gouyoku Ibun and english translations therein, as the Flan depicted within lacks nearly any of the "moe" traits that were associated with less violent fanon interpretations of the character, instead being solely concerned with fighting for the sake of it.[[/labelnote]]
