Rin Shima is fond of camping, and frequently takes excursions out to the Mount Fuji area in her spare time, camping along the lakes near Mount Fuji, where she is afforded with a majestic view of Japan's most famous mountain. She encounters Nadeshiko Kagamihara during one of her camping trips: Nadeshiko is a cyclist and shares Rin's fondness for the views amount Mount Fuji, often cycling alone to find new viewpoints from which she can enjoy Mount Fuji's majesty.
