'''Machiya Tomohiro''' is the Cameraman for his School’s Film Research Club, one day during his club activities he is called by '''Mashiro Mai''', a beauty from the Swimming Club; Mashiro asks Machiya to film her for 48 Hours straight under two conditions:
* 1) Be the sole person responsible for filming during those two days.
* 2) Do not stop filming, no matter what happens.

Machiya complies, even if wondering why such a beauty would contact such a plain person, out of the blue, to follow her around for two days; Mashiro is first seen going through her normal routine, undergoing her Club activities, going to school, talking to her friends, going home, sleeping, etc. Then in the Second Day Machiya is surprised to see Mashiro going on a date, with a Delinquent-looking guy no less, he feel s down by following them around but he still keeps filming each step Mashiro takes.

After a rather normal Dating routine, Mashiro and her supposed Boyfriend settle down in a Warehouse to engage in Sexual Intercourse, Machiya starts feeling down more than ever, thinking he was fooled by a girl to simply embarrass him while she and a guy have sex while he watches, Mashiro insists for Machiya to keep filming, and he does so. This causes many students to do unpleasant things in order to win, and forces Miwa and a bunch of other students [[spoiler: to plot the murder of Betsuki-Sensei.]]
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: Machiya gets visibly depressed, uninterested more like, due Mashiro inviting him to film her having sex with someone else, before any penetration happened Mashiro beat her “lover” to death with a Bat, during this turn of events Machiya becomes horny, showing a visible budge in his pants.
