He would go on to make 2 additional arcs covering the Medieval and final chapters, collectively referred to as the ''Super!!'' or ''"That Game"'' series. While the Near Future chapters were given an official limited print run with the remake's collector's edition, the same was not done for the remaining arcs.

* Jun Sasaki, one of the creators of ''Anime/PantyAndStockingWithGarterbelt'', had the story left incomplete because the series was cancelled after season 1 and he departed from Creator/StudioGainax to Creator/StudioTrigger, where he created ''Anime/SpacePatrolLuluco''. After that, he created a dōjinshi called ''Juice'', a {{crossover}} between ''Panty & Stocking'' and ''Luluco'' where both series are part of a SharedUniverse and he gave an end to the sudden GainaxEnding at the end of [=P&S=]'s season 1 mixed with the ending of Luluco's [[spoiler:(where Brief collected all Panty's pieces and assembled her again but with something wrong, and Nova reappears with IdentityAmnesia)]]. If this is {{canon}} or not is debatable, but it's valid for the fans at least.

Can run into WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids, if the source work is kid-friendly but the fan work is ''not'', only to fool more easily because the creator works on the source officially. Compare to RunningTheAsylum, WordOfDante, WordOfSaintPaul, and BleachedUnderpants. Can often be found on a LineToGod. Contrast with FanWorkBan, which is when creators disapprove of fan-works, PromotedFanboy, for when someone who previously made fan-works is allowed to officially contribute to the work they're making fan works of (said fan may still make fan works of said work after that), and AscendedFanon, for when fan works and ideas are canonized.

* The voice cast of ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel'''s [[Recap/HazbinHotelS1E0ThatsEntertainment pilot episode]] was [[TheOtherDarrin replaced]] when the show was picked up for a full series. When they learned of this, several actors involved in the pilot[[labelnote:Specifically]][[Music/BlackGryph0n Gabriel Brown]] (Alastor's singing voice), Creator/MichaelKovach (Angel Dust), Creator/ElsieLovelock (Charlie's singing voice), Creator/KrystalLaPorte (Cherri Bomb), and Creator/MichelleMarie (Niffty)[[/labelnote]] got together to create a song reprising their roles one last time. * In a charity livestream, Creator/NDStevenson, the creator of ''WesternAnimation/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPower'', revealed he wrote a Catradora fanfiction and posted it to Website/ArchiveOfOurOwn, but declined to reveal its title or his username, though he did provide a couple tantalizing hints for the fanbase, who naturally went wild trying to find it. Most agree it's ''probably'' the fic ''Fanfic/DontGo'', but ND hasn't confirmed or denied this. The fic is now commonly accepted as canon by the fanbase, since it doesn't contradict anything we see onscreen and in fact fills in a couple gaps. (Many have also noted that this leads to the amusing mental image of some random, unknown fic authors waking up one morning to their stories having suddenly gained tons of hits overnight, alongside some comments accusing them of being ND, and probably being ''very'' confused as a result.)
