** FridgeLogic: How in the world does Aquaman lose the ability to breathe underwater if he's a native Atlantian? Do ''all'' Atlantians lose the power to breathe underwater? Superman and Martian Manhunter are ''aliens'' - are they genetically rendered human, even though they don't have anything resembling human genes in their [=DNA=]? The Green Lantern power rings are technological in origin - why do they stop working when other technological superheroes like Steel are unaffected?

* One episode of ''SupermanTheAnimatedSeries'' involved CanonForeigner Luminus filtering out all but red sunlight from Metropolis. He proceeded to taunt, harass and play with Superman, knowing he was rapidly losing his strength. Oh, and he also mastered HardLight by this episode, trapping Superman in a Western setting, Pirate setting and trying to run him over with a train. Superman manages to overcome this with good timing and playing off of Luminus's arrogance (seriously, WhyDontYaJustShootHim?) until he can destroy the filtering device.
