* In ''NeonGenesisEvangelion'', we never learn the name of Toji's little sister. Fast-forward to 15 years later, and her name is finally revealed to be [[spoiler: Sakura]] in the third ''RebuildOfEvangelion'' movie.

* ''TheStand'' has the character The Kid. We also never learn the real name or the real name of Randall Flagg, here or in ''TheDarkTower'' books. He's gone by quite a few over the years.
