When a VideoGame character does this, it's often due to SuicidalOverconfidence. Contrast BullyingADragon, when the perpetrator knows full well how dangerous their victim is (but is [[DoNotTauntCthulhu reckless]] and/or [[TooDumbToLive stupid]] enough to provoke a confrontation anyway). * An odd example in the detective series ''{{Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro}}'' wherein a boy who is being horribly bullied decided to kill his bullies.
