Falling between the NeckLift and MetronomicManMashing, the Minion Maracas occurs when somebody who would not otherwise be expected to raise somebody else off the ground, does so under the influence of a strong emotion, either positive or negative, and shakes them in mid-air to mark their point. Generally applied only in animation and comedic works, due to issues of leverage.

Often precedes ThanksINeededThat.
