* StarTrek features several. Most obviously, there are the "kid characters" Wesley Crusher and Jake Sisko; the latter defies the GenerationXerox tendency by becoming a journalist and novelist instead of joining Starfleet. In StarTrekTheNextGeneration, Geordi [=LaForge=] is explicitly described as a "Starfleet brat", with both parents in the service, who rather enjoyed his wandering childhood. Background material and the new movie put James Kirk's father and mother in Starfleet as well. Finally, we have Tom Paris, a less than ideal admiral's son.

** Solid, Liquid, and Solidus Snake were also military brats in the most literal sense (They were the clones of the legendary soldier, Big Boss, and as stated in the Novelization (as well as implied in the source material and in Peace Walker), they were also raised by the military from a very early age).

Dude, read the page description. It\'s about children who have a parent in the military. Robin doesn\'t have a parent in the military (on account of both parents being dead. Batman doesn\'t count), and neither does Raven.

* TeenTitansTroubleInTokyo: Robin & Raven qualify real well, especially when the Teen Titans are in Japan seeking the villan responsible for the destruction of Titans Tower.

* Robin from TeenTitans, it came from not only his arrogance, but his overzealous leadership over the four other teen titans.

Robin did fought fanatically al throughout all 5 Seasons, in nearly every episode. Militarism in cartoons is not my type of TV & Internet entertainment, from my opinion & point of view.

Wait a second, none of those descriptors make him fit that trope (unless you are arguing it at a metaphorical level?)

* Robin in TeenTitans. He's the team leader, the lancer, the soldier & the head honcho of the Teen Titans.

Back in 2003 when I was in High School Teen Titans aired on Cartoon Network, Robin was the ultimate soldier/superhero for all DC Comicbook fans. I chose Raven from the 5 other Titans because she was goth and her name sounded gothic. I once believed I could understand the Goth Subculture from that one female character. But when Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo aired on CN in 2006, I becamed disillusioned after learning Raven liken in the animated series had been nothing more but a Loner, not only Robins Second in command, but more like a commissar. After all that I\'ve lost all liking for Raven & Teen Titans. I soon learned from the web that Raven wasn\'t the first catoon goth girl Warner Bros created. Lydia Deetz from my point of view was the very first cartoon goth girl I\'ve seen on TV.

Elaborated on the JAG entry.

* Harmon Rabb is a GenerationXerox example (right down to his dad looking identical to him in flashbacks, plus a mustache). His dad being shot down during Vietnam and declared MIA forms a central part of Rabb's character arc as he tries to find out what happened to him.

** Also the case with most of the rest of the cast - Mac's biggest influence was her Marine uncle, Bud's father was a Master Chief (and he himself fathers four kids of his own with Harriet), Sturgis' father is a Navy Chaplain, and Maj. Gen. Cresswell's daughter is attending the Academy by the time the series ends. Of the main cast members, Chegwidden is the only one who isn't stated to be a military brat or the parent of one.
