Not knowing how having a normal relationship, for a while they had an arrangement where Asuka had to have sex with him whenever she pleased, but they always felt sick after each session (Asuka because she was using him; Shinji because he was being used and he felt he was also using her in a way). Fortunately, their relationship gets better and healthier when they get help after [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone a harsh]] [[HeelRealization wake-up call]].

Special attention is paid to the [[Literature/SherlockHolmes Sherlock and Beth]] as they [[InsatiableNewlyweds enjoy their brief honeymoon]], with lovemaking scenes that are, on the whole, very affectionate and passionate (and add to the CharacterDevelopment of their marriage).

* Rarity and the protagonist have a very healthy sex life in ''FanFic/SophisticationAndBetrayal'', particularly when compared to Cashmere. It is averted on some occasions though, such as the time where he almost takes his eye out on her horn, which ruins the moment somewhat.
* Used throughout [[http://www.sailormac.com/stories-sm.html Sailor Mac's Sailor Moon fanfiction]], even discussed at certain points (Darien explaining to Serena that hardcore porn catalogs were for people who needed cheap thrills, whereas their sex was better in his eyes because it was driven by pure love). She finally kicked the naughty meter up a notch in the "Hot Controversy" series, in which certain kinks are discussed, introduced, and experimented with.
* The ''Necromancers of China Saga'''s side plot involving Po and Tigress' growing relationship humorously {{deconstruct|ion}}s this. Due to having no experience, their first time is sloppy, quick, and disappointing. It then {{reconstruct|ion}}s it by them getting just a little better each time. Even a year later, they're still sloppy, but they admit it's much better than when they started.
* Implied to be the case with [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTales Bright Eyes and Lancer]] in the ''Fanfic/PonyPOVSeries''. While details aren't clear, after Bright Eyes loses her memory and they end up having sex for the first time (which, ironically, triggers some of her memories to return), she implies this trope is in play. Lancer is gentle, kind, and considerate to her beforehand, to the point he never made any advances or attempts to have sex with her until ''she'' was ready and asked him, so it's safe to say he was the same way in bed. It certainly didn't hurt that the memories Bright Eyes regained were of their wedding day.

And they do it rather frequently. But Lelouch is an EvilOverlord who had many dissidents killed and subjugated many people. And Suzaku is TheUnfettered WellIntentionedExtremist who [[TheQuisling betrayed his own people]] and plans to let his lover die to ensure the timeline.
* In ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11772125/1/Metroid-Kamen-Rider-Generations-Full-Series Metroid: Kamen Rider Generations]]'', [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Samus]] and [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Micchy]] are usually [[LonelyTogether seen]] [[MayflyDecemberRomance sharing]] an intimate moment together. Thanks to WeaknessTurnsHerOn, Samus eventually learns to show Micchy affection like a human being. In nearly every scene in later chapters which is not a fight scene, pre- or post-mission, and the perspective is focused on either one of them, their moment comes as a tender, comforting, and emotional sex.
* Deconstructed a bit in ''Fanfic/PokemonResetBloodlines'': while it is true that relationships with genuine connections have something that other sexual acts, even those from involving people considered 'sex gods' in-universe when it comes to physical acts, do not, the good people part fully relates to the relationship and not their actions outside it. The first person in fic who was shown to have both the emotional and physical side of sex perfected is also a major KnightOfCerebus, as her status as it doesn't affect her sexual performance one iota.
* Namedropped in the ''Fanfic/HarryPotterPokemonMaster'' Series. Harry meets with his girlfriend's father who openly admits that he and his wife have a ton of sex and if Harry and Jasmine (after they get married of course because this is Jack's daughter after all) ever stop having sex then Harry is to assume one of them has turned evil. Jack also postulates that the reason Voldemort is evil is he needs to get laid.

* In ''Fanfic/CrossAngeTheKnightOfHilda'', Rio and Hilda take their relationship to the next level. He's a virgin and she isn't, but it also happens to be her first time with a man. The next morning, as Hilda reflects on the previous night, she realizes she's never felt so good after having sex before and briefly considers the fact that maybe it was because Rio was a man, but quickly decides that the real reason is because she loves him and that this was her first time making genuine love with someone else, as opposed to the cold and emotionally manipulative sex she was having with her fellow Norma women on Arzenal for the sake of surviving and establishing controlling hierarchies.

On the other hand, sex between the Homelander and Stormfront the two most villainous characters, include harming each other (they are NighInvulnerable superheroes) with Homelander frying Stormfront´s chest with his EyeBeams. Later, they have sex in an alley after Homelander turns a robber´s head into paste, apparently, maiming and gruesomely killing people are good for their libidos.
