* ''LightNovel/BodaciousSpacePirates'': Endings of anime series episodes prevalently begin on a black screen, with music playing and episode number then name appearing offset towards lower-right, followed by part of the credits up to the cast part, all in text with strong neon-pink color accents. From "cast" part onwards, credits run along with pictures or footage, and are a tamer black and white text.

* Another common trend involves "presents" cards for the studios popping up at the beginning, while leaving the films' actual title cards at the end. Examples include ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie'', ''WesternAnimation/TheEmojiMovie'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Ferdinand}}'', and ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse''.

** ''ComicBook/TheNightGwenStacyDied'' saves the title for the last panel, in order to prevent readers from discovering too soon which ''Spider-Man'' character Creator/{{Marvel|Comics}} decided to kill off.

* ''Film/EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce''. The title segments are spread throughout the movie as chapter titles, but the full title isn't show until the ending.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheSuperMarioBrosMovie''

* ''Animation/PleasantGoatAndBigBigWolfDunkForFuture'': As with the ''Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf'' TV series, the logo appears at the beginning and at the end of the movie.

* The title of ''Animation/HappyHeroes 3: The Stones'' reappears before the last scene in the film after having appeared at the beginning of the film, as [[spoiler:it's a loop back to the opening of the film, the Supermen having used time travel]].

* ''ComicBook/ImmortalHulk'' does this in every issue, occasionally using it for a punchline. The issue where the FantasticFour show up to fight Hulk on the last pages is titled, ''So Here's The Thing''.

* The first original OVA for ''LightNovel/AiNoKusabi'' shows the title right before the end credits roll.

* The anime adaptation of ''LightNovel/SuperCub'' does this sometimes.

* A fanfic kind in the ''[[Film/TheMummyTrilogy The Mummy]]'' fic ''Fanfic/FairyTalesAndHokum''. There's a couple of [[TitleDrop Title Drops]], but the last line of the story is "''After all, he was particularly well placed to know that you can only go so far on fairy tales and hokum alone.''"

* ''Film/JurassicParkDominion''

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLionKing'' both opens and closes on the title, serving as BookEnds to the story. Both the beginning and end show the birth and presentation of the current Lion King's child to the public, set to ''The Circle of Life''.

* The title card for ''WesternAnimation/HowToTrainYourDragon'' is the LAST shot of the movie before the credits roll.
** Ditto for ''WesternAnimation/HowToTrainYourDragon2''. ''[[WesternAnimation/HowToTrainYourDragonTheHiddenWorld The Hidden World]]'' keeps the tradition alive as well.

* ''WesternAnimation/CaptainUnderpantsTheFirstEpicMovie'' is a BookEnds example of this.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles''. Although with such artistic end credits, it doesn't ''feel'' like the end.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Moana}}'' also does this right after the final shot of the [[ProtagonistTitle main character]].

* ''Film/WesCravensNewNightmare'' doesn't display its title until a few mintues into the closing credits, somewhat fitting for its status as a RealWorldEpisode.

* In the ''WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder'' episode "The Liar" the title appears [[BookEnds again at the end]], after Sylvia claims [[BlatantLies she knew all along things were going to work out]].

* There was a Creator/{{DC|Comics}} storyline that went by the title ''ComicBook/{{Superman}} Super Leauge'', up until the end of the first issue when Superman said "[[WhamLine I'm dying]]." Then the true title was revealed: ''ComicBook/TheFinalDaysOfSuperman''.

* ''Film/{{Contagion}}''

* The title card for The World That Never Was in ''VideoGame/KingdomHearts3DDreamDropDistance'' does not appear for Riku until ''after'' he defeats [[spoiler:[[HPToOne the Anti-Black Cloak]] and [[EnemyWithin Ansem, Seeker of Darkness]]]], and just before the final boss marathon.

* Music/{{Journey}}'s "Don't Stop Believing" saves the TitleDrop until the very end.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Epic}}'': The title card doesn't appear until the very end, making the movie the world's longest cold open.
