** And Percy and his mother really like blue-coloured food. Blue coke, blue pie… you name it. Justified in-universe with the explanation that Percy's first stepfather Gabe Ugliano had once claimed there was no such thing as blue food (apparently he'd never heard of blueberries), and after initially proving him wrong, Sally went out of her way to make and eat blue food regularly as a way of rubbing it in his face. After he's out of their lives, she and Percy keep it up as their personal in-joke. (Also, they really do like it.)

* Dagwood in ''ComicStrip/{{Blondie}}'' is famous for making [[DagwoodSandwich huge sandwiches that generally consist of one of everything that's in the fridge]].

* ''Series/RedDwarf'': Lister enjoys such foods as Sugar Puff Sandwiches, Triple Fried Egg Sandwiches With Chilli Sauce And Chutney, Beer Milkshakes, Cornflakes with grated raw onion and Tabasco sauce, cold curry sauce as an early-morning pick-me-up, and Shami Kebab Diablo, all of which lead to revulsion from the other characters. * The "Sinner's Sandwich" from ''VideoGame/DeadlyPremonition'' contains the unlikely combination of turkey, strawberry jam, and breakfast cereal. York gives it the name because he's convinced that Mr. Stewart eats it as some kind of self-inflicted punishment... until he tries one, and is amazed at how much he enjoys it.

Then again, as Aria points out, Sonata will eat ''anything'' if it's served in a taco shell.

* Toroj's fic ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2152624/1/Hapy-Niu-Jer Hapy Niu Jer]]'' (in Polish - the title is a phonetic rendition of "Happy New Year") has [[Franchise/HarryPotter Harry and the gang, along with Snape]] (who got suckered into a bet) spend New Year's Eve in Grimmauld Place. During breakfast, Snape puts every possible spice on his oatmeal - not every spice you would think to put on oatmeal, ''every spice in the kitchen'' in copious amounts, and takes offence at being given increasingly funny looks. The resulting concoction sends poor Lupin to the nearest toilet, but Snape eats it happily.

* ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'': The title character's little sister Dawn was notorious for this (according to the book ''Television Series of the 1990s: Essential Facts and Quirky Details'', her favorite sandwich is peanut butter and salami on white bread, and she's made peanut butter and banana waffles). Buffy herself also showed signs of it - according to her friend Billy Fordham in the season 2 episode "Lie to Me", she used to eat Oreos dunked in apple juice.

Chrom also enjoys bear meat, though not quite to the same extent as Robin. Even stranger, in the English version the translators also gave Robin a fondness for ''liver and eel pie'' of all things. However, given that this is [[NightmareFetishist Tharja]] who says this, this may be a joke.

** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses'', you can choose to have a meal with different characters when exploring the monastery and everyone has their favourite meals. However, [[TheEeyore Hapi]] is the ''only'' character who likes "Small Fish Skewers", which is noted to have an unpleasant, muddy aftertaste and as such as a very unpopular dish.
