** In ''Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure'', Erika sometiems refers to Tsubomi's mom Mizuki as "oba-sama" (roughly "Auntie").
** In the first episode of ''Glitter Force'' (the English dub of ''Anime/SmilePrecure''), Emily calls Kelsey "Kels" when she comes to sit with her.
