But despite the weaponry being "illegal", both animals did not for an instant get in trouble, and neither did their sponsoring teams of humans. Apparently the weapons were more "unexpected" than anything else.

Fortunately, his opponent Draaainage nipped the problem in the bud before it got any worse.]]

* UnexpectedGenreChange: The series is usually a dark action-comedy. It tends to veer terribly into straight-up horror towards the end of each arc.
