* ArtisticLicenseEconomics: Early in the story, Liam captures a BlackBox that can turn junk into rare metals, which essentially lets Liam print money for himself and his feudal holdings. He abuses it so much that it ought to cause an inflation crisis ''a la'' what happened to Spain in the 1600s, but this never occurs to anyone.

* HundredPercentAdorationRating: Liam with his main territory's population, due early on to Amagi steering his desire to exploit his people towards investing in them so that there's actually something to exploit later. There is even a scene of people reacting positively to a tax increase, as it gives them hope for planetary development of newly settled worlds. The biggest backlash he received was for trying to ban a [[BeehiveHairdo haircut]]. The population of planets Liam conquers are more of a mixed bag, considering his LeaveNoSurvivors policy with enemy fleets.
