* UpToEleven: Sorc normally plays Audiosurf in Mono mode on Casual and occasionally Pro difficulties; channel update videos in particular use Casual surfing for background gameplay. This series, however, is exclusively Ninja Mono.
** "Channel anthology" videos are done after every third channel update video; these consist of Ninja Mono resurfs of the three tracks used in those updates. "Descend" (used in the fourth channel update) is an exception to this, however, as it had a video to itself.
** While Sorc points out that he generally dislikes Audiosurfs puzzle gameplay modes, he does accept the challenge of playing "The Device Has Been Modified" with the [as-portal] tag, which applies first-person camera and enforces Pointman Pro mode.

** These pronunciations are deliberately reused in episode 9, too.

* invokedSpoiledByTheFormat: A minor case with time trial attempt montages. Failed runs are generally just a few seconds of footage leading up to a death or other error, but Sorc chose to include the successful runs in their entirety. As a result, when you see a run start from the beginning of the level and last more than about ten seconds without something going wrong, you can be pretty sure it's the successful one.

A lengthy history of the schedule is contained in this On starting [=LPs=], there was initially no schedule, but Sorc aimed to get a video out every day. This lasted until the conclusion of Transistor, at which point Sorc took a week's break from Minecraft and put out Surgeon Simulator every day for that week before starting a schedule of Mon/Fri Minecraft and Wed/Sun side LP. On the release of Minecraft 1.8, the Minecraft schedule was divided into modded on Monday and vanilla on Friday, and when Sorc resumed Surgeon Simulator for the DLC update, he split the side LP schedule into Surgeon Sim on Wednesday and keeping the ongoing Alundra on Sunday; he then kept the split side schedule when starting Crash Bandicoot Warped. Almost immediately after that, he wrecked his base in vanilla, and began a hiatus from Minecraft that lasted throughout Warped and the remainder of Alundra. Finally, with both side [=LPs=] conveniently and coincidentally ending in the same week, he changed the schedule again to MWF, three series rotation, with all three slots being given equal precedence rather than Minecraft being considered the "flagship", as it had been up to that point. Subsequently, in October 2016, Sorc finally dropped the idea of scheduled games entirely, meaning the three videos in any given week can be of any game whatsoever, although since Mirror's Edge was ongoing at the time of the change, it remained in its Wednesday slot until completion., for the curious. As of January 2019 or so, there is no longer any concept whatsoever of a schedule on the channel.

-->-- Description on the series playlist.

The third side LP, started after Transistor concluded, and initially intended to be a breather series, starting in a week of no Minecraft episodes being released; as such, the first seven episodes ran on a one-per-day output rate, as a new channel schedule was being instituted the following week.

The series is concluded, and consists of sixteen episodes.

* OneHundredPercentCompletion: The series originally ended after ten episodes with all achievements earned.
* AddedAlliterativeAppeal: Episode 11, "Burke is back!"
* The Ambulance Came Back: For an additional five episodes, due to the A&E: Anniversary Edition DLC.
** And then again for one more episode to cover the Donald Trump surgery.
** And then again for the VR "Experience Reality" version of the game.
* AnnoyingLaugh: A deliberately goofy laugh in episode 15 turns out rather more dreadful than intended.
* BlatantLies: The playlist description.
* CatchPhrase: "Be severed!"
* FunWithHomophones: Episode 16's title.Considering Trump is involved, one could also say that episode was Fun With Homophobes!
* invokedGeniusBonus[=/=]GettingCrapPastTheRadar: Episode 16, concerning the Donald Trump surgery, is titled "Burke meets berk". For those who don't know, the term "berk" is mostly colloquially used in the UK to merely mean "idiot"; however, Sorc is very much aware of the actual etymology, and its use in the title is extremely intentional.
* TheOneWith: Episode 5, "The One With Compromised Audio".
* ScaryShinyGlasses: Seen on Bob's goggles in episode 14 during the space eye transplant.
* ScoreScreen: Tracks the number of watches lost, the number of times the patient dies, and the number of spoons flipped (of which caught, and whether sick filth has been achieved).
* ShoutOut: "Out, damn'd box! Out, I say!" in episode 12.
* TheStinger:
** Episode 5 has a review of the majesty that is the 180 spoon flip.
** Episode 13 features the broken physics engine montage.
** Episodes 17-19 all have some post-outro nonsense.
* ThirteenIsUnlucky: Episode 13 went horribly wrong in multiple ways. But at least it has a great thumbnail and , thanks to the physics engine going horribly wrong in an utterly hilarious fashion.
* VirtualReality: The "Experience Reality" edition.
