***And aren't Leni, Luna, Lucy, and Lana nice to Lincoln all the time? Even the "mean" sisters - Lori, Luan, Lynn, Lola, and Lisa - would have another motivation for Lincoln: teaching him a lesson.

* So if Luna quotes songs like "Gimme Shelter" and "You Can't Always Get What you Want", does this mean the Rolling Stones exist alongside an obvious parody in this universe or does Mick Swagger just sing all their songs?

It's still a mystery why Luan didn't give Col. Crackers to Lynn instead of Lincoln, though, and why Lori didn't give the pink bike to Leni the moment she outgrew it.

** Lucy’s secretly a vampire. That’s why her skin is so much paler than the rest of the family, and why she can appear randomly at will. There’s even one episode where she pops out of the chimney.
*** But she started as a baby and then grew (and was dark as a baby), and she can eat normal food (seen in many episodes), pee (in one of the comics, she's doing a PottyDance), and get sick ("One Flu Over the Loud House").
*** Maybe vampires in that universe have different characteristics from Dracula-type vampires.
*** Still, why are her parents human? And I thought Lucy was explicitly a VampireVannabe-- if she actually became a vampire, why would she keep it secret?
*** The vampire theory is jossed in "Fright Bite", which has Lucy explicitly trying to become one.

[[folder: Am I the only one who think Vampires of Melancholia is inspired by Dark Shadows?]]
* Okay, so this is more pa question about the fandom of the show and how they perceive it, but I still want to get it off my chest here. So, obviously Lucy's favorite show ''Vampires of Melancholia'' is in part a pastiche of the ''{{Literature/Twilight}}'' franchise. But am I the only one who thinks its also at least somewhat based on ''Series/DarkShadows''? Since there was a [[Film/DarkShadows fairly high profile film based on that property]] only four years prior to the Loud House's debut, I would have assumed that the saga of the Barnabas family would have been on more people's minds, and more people would have made the comparison, but hardly anyone else has AFAIK.
