* A bigger question is what causes Lunch to change every time she sneezes in the first place? It's clearly some kind of magical transformation too, given how not only her personality but also her looks change and how Lunch can ride the Nimbus despite the existence of her bad side. I'd take "this is based on X" like Chiaotzu being based on a Chinese Vampire, but with Lunch there's nothing as far as I'm aware.

* Why does Chi-Chi call Goku "Goku-sa" in the Japanese version? What does that even mean?

** It is a fairly common in traditional arranged marriages to not have couples admit any romantic feelings towards one another in public. One of my married colleagues said he had "never been in love" despite the fact that his wife was pregnant with their second child at that time.

Added DiffLines:

** I could be wrong, so apologies in advance, but Gohan appears to be a prodigy, like [[Manga/DeathNote Light Yagami]] and his mother is almost always concerned about his academic performance too. One of the first thing she asks him for, when he gets back home from prep school is his test results. So Chi-Chi probably expects Gohan to do well in a similar manner.

Added DiffLines:

** They were married and she may have explained to him how to consummate their marriage. He does explicitly say in ''Super'' that he likes Chi-Chi for her feistiness.

*** And if I remember, Goku immediately figures out after Vegeta's amused reaction, that the big scary monster that killed Grandpa Gohan was, in fact, himself.

*** That sounds like a portmanteau of "rotten vegetable"... [[UnfortunateNames You're right. It sucks.]]

* Bulma has complete access to Gero's android technology, due to having done extensive analysis on 16 and probably maintenance for 17 and 18 after the Cell Saga ended. Her entire social circle, including her husband (heck, even ''[=ChiChi=]'', to an extent), consists of top-level fighters who could bench-press Jupiter if they wanted to (well, maybe a mounain in [=ChiChi=]'s case). So, why didn't she ever use this known upgrade-a-person technology to get at least to Yamcha levels of being able to keep up with the rest of the group? She can't possibly have enjoyed being the lone squishy one.

** I'm more weirded out that he's hitting on his old student's WIFE. Have Roshi no shame?

*** Two things: one, if you had a battle machine powerful enough to destroy a city in the blink of an eye at your beck and call, would you really care what does it look like? Two, the whole racial caricature and southern accent comes from the Funimation dub. In the original Japanese (and Latin American for that matter) dub, Androids 14 and 15 are nearly mute, save for a couple of Son Goku mutterings, while Android 13 speaks with no accent.

** Good news for you: the live action movie combines Picollo Daimaoh with Picollo Jr., thus giving "Picollo" the ability to summon monsters.

* Why can't Piccolo hatch demon warriors like Demon King Piccolo could? I mean, they're both standard Namekians, and Piccolo is a clone of his dad, after all. Come to think of it, why didn't Nail just hatch himself an army once Frieza started killing stuff? Come to think of it again, why didn't Kami try that once he got wind of Vegeta and Nappa? Before you say "too old", Demon King Piccolo made Tambourine and Cymbal before wishing himself back to youth. And even if they were fairly weak, an army would've been nice to have against the saiyans.

*** It is definitely a forgotten plebotinum. According the the dragonball wiki, which is pretty accurate down to the gun random mooks use, BT3 has a "What If?" story putting him against both Freeza and King Cooler. He wins easily thanks to his devil beam. He would have a decent chance of fighting of most of the villains in the series, assuming they don't kill him first. And when was the last time anyone killed anyone in DBZ before they could use their ultimate attack?

*** I wouldn't call it a plothole per se, just a case of ForgottenPhlebotinum that sort of makes sense. Not sure one could assume that technique could be copied either. Funnily enough, I think this technique is played for laughs in one of the Dragon Ball Z games(BT 3??) in where the move deals great damage under certain circumstances.
