About none of these are valid. The last one about Adult Swim might work, but it hasn't even happened yet, which means it can't be an example.

* "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS10E18YouCantDoThatOnTelevisionPeter You Can't Do That on Television, Peter]]": As Peter and Lois are arguing over his being too much involved in his children's TV show, spending nights out on the town and neglecting his family duties as a result, Peter warns Lois not to nag him, as he can have "any 3-year-old girl [he] wants". This joke becomes even worse following the posthumous exposé on British television host Creator/JimmySavile, revealing that he was a pedophile who only did his his children's TV show ''Jim'll Fix It'' to prey on little children.

** In "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS9E4HalloweenOnSpoonerStreet Halloween on Spooner Street]]", Lois reprimands Chris for dressing up as Bill Cosby for Halloween. In the episode, it was because Chris was wearing Blackface, but after Cosby's sexual abuse allegations, there would be a second reason for it.

** In "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS12E6LifeOfBrian Life of Brian]]", there is a throw-away gag involving Mayor Adam West claiming that no one came to his funeral before fading away. A few years later, and the real-life Creator/AdamWest ends up dying.
** In "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS3E21FamilyGuyViewerMailOne Family Guy Viewer Mail #1]]", he immerses himself in toxic waste so he can gain superpowers like the Griffins but it backfires when he's diagnosed with lymphoma. In real life, Adam West died from leukemia on June 10, 2017, which makes the episode haunting to watch now.
* In season 7's "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS7E4BabyNotOnBoard Baby Not on Board]]", Stewie states that being in the house by himself is more lonely than James Gandolfini's gym equipment. Although the episode aired in 2008, that scene would be less funny now given that Gandolfini died of a heart attack on June 19, 2013.

While at the time, it seemed silly and unlikely for there to be a more adult-oriented version of the family-friendly cartoon, then over a decade later ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated'' premiered.
* In "Barely Legal", the entire Quahog police force is deployed to South America, leading the town's African-American population to rejoice and burst into a chorus of "A Brand New Day" from ''Film/TheWiz''. In June 2020, in response to the racially-charged unrest sparked by the murder of George Floyd by police officers, the city of Minneapolis announced it would disband its police department (and replace it with a new "public health and safety" unit).
