He goes so far as to remove the magazine from his gun, as if his surrender wasn't obvious already.

** "Ladies...children...sheep."

** During Happy's rant about Tony and his "superfriends" you can catch this gem :

** FridgeBrilliance kicks in when you realize that [[ActorAllusion Tony Stark]] just failed pulling off a SherlockScan (and acknowledging that he didn't look long enough to get a good glimpse).

** Added [[FridgeLogic Fridge Funny]]? That wouldn't be a legal password in most organizations, much less the US military (no numbers, no lowercase, no special characters...who taught you infosec, Rhodey?)

*** Bit of fridge logic in that Marvel is a pretty hard-science universe, Killian is probably [[{{Squick}} burning parts of his own lungs]] to pull that trick, and with all the talk about 'regulation' and how deliberately-casual Killian seems after pulling it, it's an open question whether Savin's shocked that Killian did that, or that Killian did that ''without going nova.''

*** For some FridgeBrilliance: JARVIS might well have been making a joke on purpose! Tony's clearly made him perfectly capable of snarking right back at him, and JARVIS getting back to that after being battered and broken (his voice sounding clearly distressed/faulty) is another good sign he's getting right back to how he should be.

** FridgeBrilliance really; it looks villainous before you see the movie, and funny after.

** Happy quitting his job and jokingly calls the Film/TheAvengers "WesternAnimation/SuperFriends".

* Though it's a production gaffe, if you look closely during the scene where Tony threatens the Mandarin, the reporter's phone upgrades from a flip-phone to a smartphone merely by being in Tony Stark's presence.

* Any scene with [[spoiler: The Mandarin/ Trevor after TheReveal because he is a goofy nobody off camera.]]

* The Mark XLII chilling on Tony's couch. Then Pepper flirts with Tony while he's in the suit. [[spoiler:Or rather, while he's ''[[AnimatedArmor not]]''.]] [[spoiler:When he mentions she had a meeting with Killian, the suit turns to Pepper in a disapproving look!]]

** Pepper's reaction to the reveal that the armor was empty and Tony was downstairs doing something else. Or rather, [[SeenItAll her lack of reaction.]]

* After saving the crew of UsefulNotes/AirForceOne, Iron Man looks to make sure everyone's okay. When he confirms they are, he turns around to fly away... and gets nailed by a truck. [[spoiler: Good thing he wasn't in it.]]

** FridgeBrilliance kicks in when you realize that [[ActorAllusion Tony Stark]] just failed pulling off a SherlockScan.

** The look on the BigBad's face when it happens just really sells it.
* The after-credits [[TheStinger stinger]], which has [[spoiler: Tony casually telling the film's story to a clearly asleep [[TheIncredibleHulk Bruce Banner]], who tells him that he's NotThatKindOfDoctor. Undeterred, Tony picks up where he left off and continues rambling.]]

* Tony's quips during his fight with [[DarkActionGirl Brandt]].

--> "Thirteen, actually."

* After a particularly intense moment where Tony is investigating the bombings, his doorbell suddenly rings and he sees on his security camera someone at the door. Complete with JARVIS snarking back

* Dr. Maya Hansen calls on Tony, is subjected to one of Tony and Pepper's signature squabbles.

* Tony Stark - who for years was a weapons designer and international arms dealer and is now a CrazyPrepared superhero with armour for every combat eventuality under the sun - has very little knowledge on how garden-variety guns ''work''. Made funnier when you realize the guns they're using probably ''do'' use the same kind of ammunition... just not the same kind of magazine.

** In fact if you look closely, they ''do'' use the same ammunition; both pistols are 9mm models, meaning they could take the ammo out of one of Rhodey's spare mags to refill Tony's pistol. But given Tony's marksmanship skills, the rounds might be better off right where they are.

'''Tony''': I was aiming for the bulb, you can't hit the bulb at this distance!\\

* The running joke that everyone hates War Machine's name change to Iron Patriot. It mirrors the time when people tried to rename french fries into freedom fries.

** Followed moments later by his completely dumbfounded reaction to [[spoiler:Killian breathing fire.]]

** Particularly amusing if you remember he's an Extremis subject as well, so his whole look could be summed up as ''"Holy Shit! We can actually ''[[HowDoIShootWeb do]]'' that?! Why didn't anyone tell me?!"''

* Pepper follows up her CrowningMomentOfAwesome with a look that suggests she's shocked but also impressed by what just happened:

** Also, Tony's reaction when a mook crush the watch.

* Iron Man's obsessed fan, complete with a tattoo.

* Towards the beginning, Happy haves difficulty using a tablet computer. Tony telling him to "flip the screen" (or rather turn the screen so the camera facing toward what he wants Tony to see) is the icing on the cake.
** Tony has to hack the damn the thing just to see what Happy's fussing about.
** Also, telling Tony about Killian. Obviously, he doesn't remember him.

* Tony's reaction when he regains consciousness just in time to find out the suit's flown him to Tennessee:

* Savin [[spoiler:going into Air Force 1 and killing the Secret Service? Disturbing. Savin repulsor-blasting one of them and then looking at his palm in a vaguely surprised "that was unexpected and yet awesome" way? Hilarious.]]
* After Rhodey rescues Pres. Ellis and gets back in his armor, we get this exchange:

'''Ellis''': What do you mean, ''[Rhodey flies off suddenly while carrying the president]'' rea[[ScreamsLikeALittleGirl AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!]]

** [[MoodWhiplash Quickly veers into]] TearJerker territory, though, as JARVIS realizes the reason he messed up priorities this bad is because he's malfunctioning from the damage he took in the attack. Part of the incredulity is because JARVIS is momentarily incapable of recognizing that it was not the correct course of action.

* After reuniting with Maya [[spoiler: in Killian's Base]], Maya shows Tone the equations he had written doon on the back of a card in the beginning of the movie 13 years ago. Na dhe has absolutely no memory of the event (most likely due to the fact that he was drunk) Maya's reaction sells it. This equation has been what has fueled her research into Extremis for the last 13 years, and the man who gave it to her just revealed that it was something that he scribbled out one night when he was drunk and that he has no memory of ever doing.

* Rhodey's completely dumbfounded reaction to [[spoiler:Killian breathing fire.]]

** "Ladies. Children. Sheep."
