Of course, this explanation is not mutually exclusive with the {{Fanservice}} one mentioned above.

** Probably more for the readership's benefit than anyone else, if you want to get on a meta level about it. But if you want to look into it as more of an in-story perspective, it may just be an aesthetic attraction over a sexual one, given they have no sex drives.
