Written and directed by The Farrelly Brothers, it reunites the two stars of the original, Creator/JimCarrey and Creator/JeffDaniels, as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively. The plot sees the two dimwitted heroes go in search of Harry's long-lost daughter so that Harry can obtain a new kidney. The first trailer premiered on ''Series/TheTonightShowStarringJimmyFallon'' on June 10, 2014. The movie was released on November 14, 2014, coinciding with the [[MilestoneCelebration 20th anniversary of the first film]].

One of the heads of the event looks for Pinchelow, unaware of what he looks like aside from the fact that he wears hearing aides. He overhears Harry saying that he has to Pinch a loaf, thinks he said Pinchelow, sees the hearing aides, and is convinced that it's him (which Lloyd makes Harry go along with so they can get in).
