As of 8/19/13, there are six episodes/installments, and the writer plans to take the series up through at least 11 parts. This updates every two to three days, which is kind of remarkable; the writer has an excellent track record for finishing long series, but this is worth reading right from the off (i.e. don't wait till it's finished; there are already 40,000 words of complete and total awesome).
