Do warn when a fanfic may head into sexual or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is SeriousBusiness.

With Community arriving on Netflix, I (and tons of other fans) remembered how much the show meant to me. My first foray into the universe was in 2012. Even once the show finished in 2015, I never looked into the FanFiction for it. I’m not sure why - probably because the Annie x Jeff relationship brought up a lot of memories for me that at the time I didn’t want to spend too much time analyzing. The last few weeks I’ve read, quite literally, every story on this site that stars them as the primary pairing. But for some reason, I had jumped over this one. Probably because it made me nauseous to think about them waiting 5 years to finally truly find one another. But I’m happy to say I saved the best for last. This was an amazing read. The emotional moments felt compellingly real, and constantly had me looking back at relationships and experiences in my own life. I mentioned the 5 year gap being a source of pain, but in retrospect that’s more realistic of life. Not everything works out in life. Sometimes passing ships simply sail away, never to pass one another again. But your story reminds me that life shouldn't be bleak acceptance - that sometimes, maybe, some things can have a second chance. Or even work out in ways you never imagined. I had tears in eyes more than once(and do as I type this), and I can say with certainty that your story was the best conclusion to their journey I could have imagined. If a Community movie does come out, it won’t do your story justice. I can’t stress how touched I feel by this story. I hope this comment finds you well, and if not then maybe a strangers comment on a 4 year old story will bring you a little joy. Thank you for writing this, truly.

* Comments: An alternate Continuation version of Season 5 that picks up soon after Troy leaves (we get updates of his progress around the world in TheTag of each chapter). The author is clearly a reader of Wiki/ThisVeryWiki, as the titles of all the chapters (and the fic itself) are all the names of various tropes and, of course, Abed and Rachel do a lot of ConversationalTroping. Fun, funny and full of hijinks and adventures in friendship.

This was very touching and sweet. I love how open they are with their feelings finally. FINALLY! You did a great job of alternating the sweet and sappy moments with sultry ones, making it very clear that even while they have confessed their feelings there is still much to be done about their passion. If you get my drift ;)

* Pairing(s): Jeff/Annie
* Summary: When he learns Annie won't be returning to Greendale in the fall after all, Jeff takes dramatic steps in an attempt to move on. (Spoiler alert: it doesn't work.)
* Tags: Post-Finale
* Comments: This story really has everything, and in great balance - emotional arcs for the characters individually, relationship arc, plot, strong characterization, humour, angst, subplots... And without beaning me over the head with the same relationship conversation and manufactured angst and misunderstandings - a pet peeve of mine. They cover similar ground but each instance is motivated by where they're at within an organic development. I particularly LOVED the payout of Annie's texts to Jeff's old number being sent to his new number. It was played deftly: not melodramatic in the least, it caused some pain but highlighted how far they'd come that a) Jeff didn't let it destroy him and trusted Annie, and b) they calmly talked it through and there are no secrets in the integrated relationship.
