Someone suggests she get a fake husband and despite her vehement rejection of the notion, Beth is convinced by Benny that they should enter into a {{Marriage of Convenience}}. The story follows the ups and downs of their marriage with all their friends in supporting roles.
It has everything. Chess, Drama, Suspense, Comedy, Romance, Intimacy, Fashion, Music and enough enough {{CallBack}}s and {{ContinuityNod}}s to make it seem like a season two novelization. The characterization is spot on, and the author does a great job of creating a believable world with well researched settings and relevant OCs. If you're a fan of The Queen's Gambit and the Beth/Benny ship, do yourself a favor and read this.
