''La Resistance'' is a ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'' FanFiction that includes ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'', ''Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit'', and ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'' by Ihc.

This fic delves into the unsettling implications of toons being immortal [[RealityWarper Reality Warpers]] along with a ''ton'' of WorldBuilding and ToonPhysics included. Tell me, how do you think humanity would generally handles that situation? Please- let me introduce you to ''FantasticRacism.''

Added DiffLines:

* AchillesHeel: The toons well-known [[KryptoniteFactor kryptonite]] Dip. It's extremely deadly to them and even if a little bit touches them it can be ''extraordinary'' painful. It was [[spoiler: created by the government unbeknownst to most of the public]] after Bugs little stunt during World War II. They panicked until they developed Dip, something to effectively kill toons if they decide it's necessary.
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: ''Yeah...'' it's guaranteed since before the ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'' cast which tended to deal mainly with [[{{Slapstick}} comedy and slapstick]] quickly turns [[DarkerAndEdgier a lot more grim]] when they're fighting a reality where toons [[RealityWarper reality warping]] abilities are seen as a lot more dangerous to humans since it can be lethal to them, FantasticRacism that goes along with it, and a terrorists group that's hellbent on [[FinalSolution genocide]] all toons.

Added DiffLines:

* AndIMustScream: [[DefiedTrope Defied]] when the Warner siblings were trapped in the water tower. They never lost hope that they'd find a way out to escape their [[FateWorseThanDeath fate]] all the while honing and perfecting their [[ToonPhysics abilities.]] Eventually, they broke out themselves but it should be noted that they were more [[HiddenDepths effected]] by their [[GildedCage imprisonment]] then they let on.
* BewareOfTheNiceOnes:
** ''Bugs Bunny'', believe it or not. He's a all around nice guy but you do ''not'' want to get on his bad side. He's one of the most powerful, well known toons in toon history and he's most specifically remembered for the stunt he pulled towards the Imperial Japanese Navy. Toons were forbidden to join the army and back then during World War II, they weren't too happy about that. So, when a bunch of guys Bug's knew got killed in Guadalcanal, he kind of lost it. Whatever happened, there was at least a ''dozen ships'' that got twisted together into some sort of modern art piece and according to the American Navy ''no one'' was found alive on the island. That means Bug's must have killed at least a '''''few thousand people.'''''
** The three Warner siblings are another good example. They're mischievous, cheerful, and full of boundless energy, sure. But you do NOT want to get them angry. Plotz quickly learns this when he actually manages to push one of their [[BerserkButton berserk buttons]] and the result is... [[NightmareFuel rather terrifying.]]

Added DiffLines:

* {{Determinator}}: The Warner siblings definitely deserve to be called this after receiving a FateWorseThanDeath [[GildedCage trapped in a locked box]]. They never gave up and always looked for a way out and improved on their ToonPhysics abilities. They were able to keep it up for ''60 years'' and then they're hard work payed off and they were finally able to break out of the water tower.
* DrivenToMadness: [[DefiedTrope Defied]] as we hear from WordOfGod saying how it's a true testimony to the siblings ability in how incredibly strong both physically and emotionally they must be in order to come out of that situation without losing their sanity and she's ''right''. Even the best of people will find [[GoMadFromTheIsolation it increasingly difficult not going insane after being locked in isolation]] by the studio that created them.

Added DiffLines:

* FriendlyRivalry: Between Bugs and Daffy, of course. This is especially seen when [[spoiler: right before fighting in a war against the Human Resistance]] [[VitriolicBestBuds Bugs and Daffy]] launched a bet that [[TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou if one of them died]] then the other has the honor of [[LastDisrespects dancing on their grave.]]
* GildedCage: That's what how the Warner siblings felt about the water tower after the Warner company sealed the three kids in there when they turned out to be [[SuperpowerLottery too powerful and unruly to properly control them.]] That was considered [[CorporateConspiracy shady]] even in the 30's [[FantasticRacism when toons barely had any rights.]]

Added DiffLines:

* MeanCharacterNiceActor: As we all know from the show is how much Brain wants to take over the world, but according to Calamity, the mouse is seemed rather pacifistic to him outside the show. After all, he was competent enough that the only way for numerous failed attempts at world domination to have not left a trail of bodies was if he was intentionally avoiding killing people. [[spoiler: He was even willing to create security alarms for toons in case the Human Resistance tried to kill them.]]

Added DiffLines:

* PowerNullifier: There are plastic bracelets that work on a similar principle to products like Escape-Proof Rope that suppresses all the [[ToonPhysics toons physics]] they possess. Something [[spoiler: Calamity and Furrball can attest to much to their frustration.]]
* PowerTrio: Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, ''duh''. They're powerful enough of their own but when together, they're a [[TheDreaded force of nature.]]

Added DiffLines:

Back then, ToonPhysics weren't really understood well and [[FantasticRacism they barely had any rights of their own.]] So, when the siblings were accidentally created, they were so powerful using [[ToonPhysics toon abilites]] they've never even seen before, and not properly following their scripts, the company couldn't control them. They couldn't get rid of them either because they didn't want other companies making money off of them so, the studio solution was to [[GildedCage lock them someplace where they'd never escape again.]] Thankfully, they learned how to break the seals and left the tower.
* SecretTestOfCharacter: The Warner siblings completely disappear for a week as a test to see if anyone would try to seal them back in the tower after [[BewareOfTheNiceOnes blowing up]] in a important meeting since learning that [[spoiler: the Human Resistance killed '''''hundreds''''' of toons in a terrorist attack.]] It also didn't help when Plotz kept provoking the three by pressing repeatedly on their hidden BerserkButton. Thankfully the thought didn't even occur to them and they came back a week later.

Added DiffLines:

* TailorMadePrison: Something the studio created for Yakko, Wakko, and Dot when they became too much for the company to handle. They researched for a year untill they finally created seals that locked the siblings in the water tower. The water tower turned out to be a {{Hammerspace}} that [[PowerNullifier nullified them from using their toon abilites]] from exiting the place.

Added DiffLines:

* ToonPhysics: That's a given considering this is a ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'' [[FanFiction fanfic]]. But it serves to be noted that the author goes into great detail describing how they work, what they're called, the difficulty level of using some of their toon abilities, and what exactly they do.
