* DearNegativeReader: Seeing as the author's PetPeeve is people assuming that she doesn't know what she's doing in cases where she's made it clear that she's planned things out far in advance, she occasionally adds an author's note addressing whichever issue is the most relevant at the moment and reminding people that yes, she is very well aware of how it looks, and no, she's not going to retcon the element out just because some people think it's stupid. The one in chapter 27 was actually received fairly well by readers:
