* During the quest "Emogene Takes a Lover", you need to deal with a cult called the Pillars of the Community to negotiate for her release. It's possible to meet them before receiving the quest, and if you kill them, they'll respawn for the quest, and their leader will have a different name from before to establish this is a new group of the same name. This also lets you intimidate him into letting Emogene go by pointing out you killed the last guy running this kind of scam.

removing this part; not everyone who has a component on them is automatically an android, and Harkness doesn't have one

* One of the locations on the Island from ''Far Harbor'' is the Ruined Radio Tower. There, a settler rigged the tower so that he could hear Diamond City Radio and left a note about why before being killed by wolves. There are two versions of the note, with the one you get depending on whether or not you completed the mission "Confidence Man", in which you help radio host Travis, after which he sounds much better.

* The side quest "The Devil's Due" tasks you with retrieving a pristine deathclaw egg, which you can either deliver to Wellingham in Diamond City for 200 caps and the recipe for a deathclaw egg souffle, or return to its mother which lets you pick up the deathclaw gauntlet in its nest. If you return the egg to the nest, then steal it back (making the mother deathclaw hostile) and give it to Wellingham, he says it looks like it was dragged through a sewer, and only gives you 100 caps and no recipe.

* During the scene in which [[spoiler:Kellogg kills your spouse and kidnaps Shaun]], you can't do anything to stop him. Edit the game to kill [[spoiler:Kellog]] however, and the scene changes. The unnamed [[spoiler:Institute]] woman who accompanies him will [[spoiler:wrestle Shaun away from your spouse. As soon as she succeeds, a bullet fired by an unknown assailant kills your spouse. The Institute woman looks around for the gunman, then runs away with Shaun.]]

* During the 'Story of The Century' quest, Piper will call you 'blue'. If you asked her why, her response will be different depending if you're wearing your Vault 111 jumpsuit or not.

\n* The most common ways of entering the Brother of Steel's bunker in Hidden Valley is through Veronica's quest, lockpicking the door, or finding the password on one of the dead Paladins out in the world. However, if by some chance the player has completed the Enclave Remnant's quest and learns how to use power armor, you can fool the guards at the intercom into thinking your one of the Paladin's sent out if you have the password and Brother of Steel power armor on. Major characters inside will know it's a trick, but the fact this exists in a specific order, stands out.

* You can find Clanden's snuff films and present them to Marie Pappas, the head officer of the NCR Embassy's military police, which makes sense but it doesn't present itself as an option to you. This is because it actually is a legitimate option in the games files, but one of Cachino's dialogues is bugged and doesn't set the required objective correctly, which locks out the option to tell Marie Pappas the identity of the man in the tapes.

* During “The House Always Wins”, the player is required to kill the Brotherhood of Steel. If the player somehow manages to get the BoS allied with the NCR (normally impossible, as it can only occur during a portion of the NCR main quest that takes place after killing House), the player can inform House of this, and House even has unique dialogue concerning it—mocking the Courier’s decision by pointing out that giving the NCR a powerful ally just puts House’s own plans in jeopardy, and he sends you back out to kill the Brotherhood.

* The four mobster bosses can be killed in interestingly roundabout ways, with a touch of irony.
** Big Jesus Mordino has a weak heart (similar to Cassidy) and will die from receiving any stimulant you might be carrying (including [[WeaksauceWeakness ''Nuka Cola'']]). Fitting end for a drug kingpin.
** Mr Salvatore can be murdered by pickpocketing the air tank from his breathing apparatus, leaving him suffocating helplessly. Alternatively, you can replace it with a poison tank. Fittingly, he orchestrated the death of Richard Wright with a canister of poisoned Jet.
** You can change the combination on John Bishop's safe, then rearm its explosive trap. He'll get blown up by his own paranoid security measures.
** Orville Wright loves his family. You can give a loaded gun to one of his youngest kids, who will carelessly play with it and shoot him in the face.

* During your escape from the Vault, Amata offers you a pistol and you have the option to refuse it, telling her she should keep it for defense. During her interrogation by her father and Officer Mack, she'll use the pistol to defend herself and kill Mack. Subsequently she's horrified by what she did and gives the pistol to you then as you head for the escape tunnel. Her dialogue also changes heavily depending on how you've been treating her in previous interactions and what you discussed.
