* BountyHunter: Wouldn't be a sci-fi adventure series without some of these guys. GASP law forbids bounty hunting, but that doesn't stop some from taking it up anyway, usually in the service of galactic crime syndicates.

* TheEmpire: A major part of the setting's backstory is GASP's decades-long war with one. While it no longer exists, many new worlds and species joined GASP following the war (including many that probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for being interfered with by said Empire), and its sheer horribleness also strengthened GASP's dedication to peace, including a complete ban on all superweapons.

* MegaCorp: As per many sci-fi works, a few exist in the setting; some shady, some benevolent. Under GASP law, they have no official political power, but some are very influential in their own right. One, GASP Robotics, actually produces GASP's robot populace; fortunately, it's one of the nicer ones.

* SpaceOpera: The series has elements of this as part of its ''Star Wars''-inspired sci-fi setting.

!! Jovon 6
Jovon 6 is a gas giant noted in GASP for being one of the few of such worlds capable of sustaining complex life. As a gas giant, it has no solid ground, so most of the planet's structures (constructed by visitors from other worlds for visitors from other worlds) levitate in the upper atmosphere, safe from the intense weather of the lower reaches.

Jovon Gasbags like Glorgo are one of the less humanoid species represented in GASP, instead resembling giant bloated jellyfish with gelatinous green bodies, three eyes, and several tentacles sprouting from their spherical mass. They are notable in GASP history in that they asked to join GASP after learning of its existence rather than being invited in.

!! Circuit and Trezz
Circuit and Trezz are typical examples of Planet Zed's poorest who Roger and his friends often encounter. Circuit is a stout green robot with pincer hands and a head encased in a glass dome who runs a used junk store. Trezz is his adopted daughter and a small alien of unknown origin resembling a cat mixed with a lemur but with a robotic left hand. She is a very young girl who will do any work to make her father more money.
----

!! Trezz's Species
Every so often in the history of GASP, individuals of unknown species show up in the record. Most of these individuals came to GASP from non-GASP worlds as refugees, slaves, abductees, and other methods associated with the criminal underworld and under-the-radar travel. Sadly, these individuals are often the only ones of their kind ever recorded.

Trezz's species are a small species with black-and-white fur resembling cats but with several features strongly reminiscent of lemurs, particularly the aye-aye. From what has been observed, her species is very agile, possessing great climbing and leaping abilities, as well as a talent for dexterity. Trezz is the only one of her species known.

to:

Glorgo and Karak are a thoroughly nasty pair of bullies, troublemakers, and juvenile delinquents who attend Andromeda Secondary School. Glorgo is a large gasbag-like gasbag alien from the planet Jovon 6 with three eyes, tentacles, and a foul temper. Karak is a small chameleon-like reptilian alien from the planet Trokto with camouflage abilities and questionable sanity. The two frequently antagonize Roger, his friends, and many others.

to:

Dulgara is a high gravity world locked in the grip of a global ice age. Vast expanses of snowy tundra, glacial flats, and icy mountains dominate the landscape, with blizzards being a nearly constant threat. The native species are well-adapted to survive the brutal environment, and the high gravity means most of them are also enormous in size as well.

Dulgarans like Mr. Thol are a white-furred species known for their towering height. They have six eyes (two major, four minor), huge boar-like tusks in a reptilian snout, and powerful reptilian tails. Among the largest sapient species known to GASP, they have a similar history to the Daquarrians, having been enslaved by the same planetary conqueror.

to:

They are notable in GASP history in that they asked to join GASP after learning of its existence rather than being invited in.

to:

Trokto is a planet of dense jungles and active volcanoes infamous for being among the most dangerous worlds in GASP. The planet's wildlife (which strangely resemble alien dinosaurs) is very aggressive and territorial, to the point where visitors from other planets are usually required to stay on one of the world's orbiting space stations for safety.

Trokto Reptilians like Karak are a small-statured species resembling green-scaled humanoids with eyes and tail like those of a chameleon and a forked tongue like a snake. They are an arboreal species noted for their superb senses, the ability to climb walls and ceilings like a gecko, and superb camouflage abilities similar to those of an octopus.

to:

Thurisia is a relatively nondescript world of savannahs, forests, mountains, and deserts that is most notable for being one of the few worlds known to GASP where the poorly studied phenomenon of psychic powers has developed. Indeed, most of the planet's native species are psychic in some way or have developed powerful defenses against such abilities.

Thurisians like Styleen are a diminutive insectoid species that possess yellow skin, black compound eyes, large antennae, four arms, and (most famously) a number of psychic powers. They do not have mouths, instead communicating via their innate telepathy and complex pheromones, as well as feeding by absorbing sunlight and water through their skin.
