Anthony Marcus Shalhoub (1953- ) is a Lebanese-American actor best known for his work as a character actor in film and television. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Shalhoub's acting career started as an extra in a high school production of ''Theatre/TheKingAndI'', and he instantly fell in love with acting. He later earned a bachelor's degree in drama from the University of Southern Maine, and a master's from the Yale School of Drama in 1980.
