* RidiculouslyHumanRobots: A Mechari is more of a sentient being of artificial construct, than a run-of-the-mill robotic being. Think the Geth from ''Franchise/MassEffect''.

* OneGenderRace: The only race that doesn't have a male/female choice when you create a character. Loading screen messages hint that Chua gender is something that isn't discussed in polite company. or company that doesn't want to be blown up.
** The Chua actually have two genders like the other races however only they can tell which is which, and they don't make any distinction in gender roles.

* FantasticCasteSystem: Their hybrid nature grants them nobility in the Dominion.

* RoyalInbreeding: More so after Ancestral Decree, which forbid them from breeding with Cassians. [[spoiler: Made worse that their progenitor, Dominus, had "flaws" in mental condition based on Eldan's documents.]]
